"Nelson in His Own Words" "a drama-documentory based on Horatio Nelson's personal correspondence". Sir Cloudsley-Shovell Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 I will keep an eye out for this.Living in King's Lynn.Norfolk(Home of Capt James Vancouver),Burnham Thorpe is not too far and i like to make an annual Pilgrimage to both the Church where his father was Rector and the Pub to sit in his Chair.The Pub is a real throwback to bygone years,you order your drinks and they appear at a small hole in the Wall!He Frequented the Pub when he came home to Burnham.In the Church are many Naval momentoes and well worth a visit,parts of the Alter and Choir Screen are made from Timbers from HMS Victory.To be in a place where Lord Nelson has been is inspiring to an old Matelot like me!
