Lord Vicious
The gap between consti-bellona than bellona-victory is high we need more 50-70 guns ships expecial middle ways 50-64 cannons (between consti and bellona ) and between bellona and victory maybe a 2nd rate 78-84 guns? Personally i prefer my bellona than my santi, firepower is huge and mobility is acceptable, actually imho bellona is the best ship in game, small for his size, quite agile, well armored, good calibers and numbers of cannnos/options can really punch even first rates with double dmg at short range, and definitively outgun and tank any frigate at distance. ships like valiant or wenden can do as 2nd-third rate while a mordaunt can be a very good fourth rate before bellona or the phoenix http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_ship_Fenix_(1749) ps: little note about cerberus imho need 4-6 more guns aka : 32 gun version, is not a good trade from snow to cerberus, similar dps much bigger target still low armor and less manouvrability, the surprise is way better. Ned Loe
This 1st rate was selected for development: Barfleur 2nd rate is also a good candidate with many people's likes and requests. Océan-class (1788, French 118-gun ship)
Lord Vicious
Barfleur can be a good mid between Bellona and Victory but we seriously need to fill the void between constitution and bellona with 2 ships (4th/third rates) a 50+ cannon and a 60+

Austrum
I have to say, I really want to see tons and tons of 3rd and 4th rate SoLs and/or two deck frigates. These are my absolute favorite ships categories. Really have almost no interest in 1st and 2nd rates.

Joe
This is bound to happen. As the game matures I'm sure we will see a huge expansion of ships available. It would help bring in gamers but also create depth in the game and keep players interested and paying more to play. If Game Labs follows the WOT/WT model players would spend a few bucks to help unlock new ships quicker or buy special ships. The width and breadth of ship types and styles will be the primary mechanic behind creating a deeper game so I can bet we see a fairly vast amount ships to choose from. Crankey
looking forward to seeing the ships class gaps closed. 2nd rate, 4th rate, Razee's 22 gun frigates (6th rates), Xebec, Galleon, Indiaman We can always go back once we have at least a single ship per class/weight and add additional ships to classes

This is why I was disappointed when the Devs chose the Ocean Class as wild card. We already have two great 1st rates in game. Would have preferred to see them add in something we don't have or at least something with very unique character (IE not French, English or Spanish).

Jack_the_Stripper
One way to go is to complete the English and France lines then move on, but would like to see some of the other nations ships as well, make 1 or 2 then finish the English and France and begin on the Spanish,Russians,Dutch or what ever
Elysion
Id like to see some actual armed merchant ships, not the converted to 4th rate versions, but the regular merchant version. While these ships will undoubtedly be underpowered for their size, its going to happen in the actual game that an armed merchant ship will attempt to fight off someone attacking them, id like to see how it plays out. We could really use some merchants for a change, no doubt that it will come into the game at some point. Soon the better.

Grim DeGrim
Should be like a triangle... Lots and lots of smaller ships at the base, and limited selection of 1st rates at the top. Chief concern being adequate top rate coverage by nation in the upper most portion of the triangle. Ugh, starting to sound like my work... The dutch eastindiamen Amsterdam made the second place in the latest ship poll and the will be - together with the razee HMS Indefatigable and the US-corvette Rattlesnake - added to the game. Edit: Christian VII as 90 guns and HMS Barfleur as 98 guns second rates, both are absolutly beautiful and will have a great firepower.
