AMD User: Naval Action crashes to a black screen, then forcibly restarts my computer

Recommended Posts

As said above, Naval Action crashes to a black screen, then forcibly restarts my computer

I've tried everything I can think of to fix this, and sometimes it works for an hour, other times it crashes immediately on joining the server.

Things I've tried:
-Updating GFX drivers
-Clean Installing GFX Drivers using DDU
-Clean installing motherboard drivers
-Fixing a corrupted .NET framework
-Reinstalling windows
-Checking all hardware

I've come to the conclusion that my hardware is not at fault, it's something about Naval Action making a driver crash, or more broadly, a Unity bug making a driver crash
My specs:
-Radeon RX 6800XT
-Ryzen 5800X
-32 GB RAM
-NVME drive with Win11x64
-More than enough cooling, temps never peak 60 C

No other game is giving me issues, and when NA runs, it runs great (200+ FPS on ultra settings)

Please help me, I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is broken. Soon, I'm just gonna give up and quit trying.

Thanks

Greetings Captain, please try this flow:

Please try to reinstall the game according to the flow:
1. Uninstall the game from Steam
2. Make sure there is no Naval Action folder remaining in Steam\steamapps\common\ folder (shift-delete Naval Action folder otherwise)
3. Delete temporary NA files by this workaround: https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/19975-workaround-for-certain-ui-loading-problems-inlcuding-trader-tool/?do=findComment&comment=542624
4. Delete NA folder in registry by this workaround: https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/19975-workaround-for-certain-ui-loading-problems-inlcuding-trader-tool/
5. Reinstall the game in Steam
