Another Washington complaint

I completed the Washington battle as CSA and held every objective at the end of the battle; yet, I received a defeat notice.  I alsoinflicted about 1.5 times casualties on the North.  I was very meticulous about ensuring I held each objective; I know I didn't miss anything.  What am I missing?  This is really disappointing, as you all know what a PITA this battle is.
