Game Crashes My Computer

I haven't had this issue before, but 2 days ago I was sailing in the open world when all of a sudden my monitor stopped displaying the game, saying it lost HDMI input.  This sometimes happens because the cord is loose, so I tried to adjust it, when the computer itself shut off, and then restarted itself.  Since then, after spending several minutes in open world or even port, the same issue will reoccur. Sometimes I seem to get lucky, and no crash happens, but usually it crashes.  I tried dropping all graphics settings to the lowest setting, setting the FPS limiter to 60, verifying the game files on Steam, and reinstalling, all to no avail.  Any ideas? Thank you.

Greetings Captain,

as the first steps, please try:

1) Verify integrity of game files in Steam (right click on Naval Action in Steam, click on properties->local files)

2) https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/19975-workaround-for-certain-ui-loading-problems-inlcuding-trader-tool/

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried them, and unfortunately it still crashes. I also tried the third suggestion, but the command prompt couldn't find the folder (possibly because I had done #2 before #3?) I know it's not a problem with the GPU or anything, because this is the only game I have an issue with. I'd appreciate any other ideas, thank you.

No, solution #2 and #3 do not affect each other

Have you tried to update/reinstall gpu and monitor drivers?
