Industrious crafter DLC

Adding 5 more buildings slot and opens the possibility to upgrade the shipyard with up to 5 drydocks (each has to crafted individually, lots of stones, woods and doubloons), which allow to store 5 additional ships in that port.

Extra Clan Warehouses

Allow Clan Creators and/or Diplomats to each buy 1 additional clan remote warehouse up to a total of 4 additional remote warehouses to be setup in different ports to the main CW.

This could be a reduced size warehouse with just 20 slots to allow storage of repairs, cannon and upgrades for the clan officers to withdraw similar to other clan warehouses.

I would like to propose af Chapmans Bellona class frigate as a DLC. It’s a fast frigate with 24 pounders, and would fill a gap in the DLC-ship tree. The most famous of the Bellona class frigate, which saw service in the Swedish, Russian and Naples navy. The ships have been suggested earlier in the player ship poll, and has a thread in the shipwright forum:

National Voice pack DLC ($15-$20)

  • Adding voices of the various nations in game would add to the immersive experience of the game without changing gameplay
  • Downside is that US/GB would require extra work to make it worthwhile for them
  • Pirates would require extra work to have "piraty speech" in the various languages.

Trincomalee is perfect ship for gift!  Its popular PvP ships with many admirers. I offer give ability to  choose port bonuses on 50-55 point special for DLS Trincomalee. Its dont break balance just because craftable trincos isn't expensive and has port bonuses

Otherwise, this dls stay one of many dls for drop S wood.

The way DLC ships are presented;

Currently; DLC ships can be redeemed everyday, can be redeemed with season woods, can be from blue to gold with trims.

What is wrong,

You can redeem very strong ships every day, regardless of their rank. They are always redeemed with season woods, so if you do it everyday, at the end you will have a very good ship with season woods with good port bonus. If you do not like, just break it down for special wood. It is meaningless to craft for example any 3rd rate ship, as there is a very good redeemable, and crafting it with season woods is very difficult, mostly it will be a blue ship, and you can not craft everyday like redeemable. A seasoned bellona is very valuable but meaningless when you can redeem better one, so why would you craft one ? I have golden lrq, hercules, pandora etc. and with good bonus, it happens :)

My purposal,

Redeemed ships are always blue with may be trim, with a maximum port bonus of 45 points. Instead of redeeming ship, you can redeem the permit, so you can craft it, if you like to have a better ship, even with your current shipyard bonus ! So this elevates crafting once more. This makes crafted ones on par with other craftable ships, they are not expandable. Also remove normal wood selection when redeeming DLC ship, because no one will select that, and it is a confusion.

This will put DLC ship out of P2W status of what some people think. This will balance crafting. This will bring balance to combat.

Pacific Charts DLC

Reason:
We have huge and unused area in the Pacific. It can and should be used and as people since long time ago multiple times asked for opening it for playing, most will probably buy such DLC

Method:
There should be some exit areas in the Atlantic and enter/exit areas in the Pacific not marked on game map (and na-map also), but visible in some distance. Only those with DLC can use them - just like joining battle (select and click).
Considering Atlantic one such area should be in south-east corner of the map, close to ports - so easy to find and very dangerous, rest should be far away in the deep ocean (more safe, but harder to find)

In the Pacific there should be some neutral ports with potentially hostile NPCs around, and at least 2-3 freeports. Pacific resources should be at least at 40-60% unique, so they could be sold for large profits in the Atlantic (and vice versa) thus making trade between both areas very profitable (and prone for ganking). You can use this area for shipbuilding and crafting, but there shouldn't be 50-55pt ports (develop them), so to fully use Pacific resources you have to transport them back to Caribbean.
Also devs can introduce some unique events there (Manila Galleon for example)

Potential Problems
There is 2 such problems

  • Amount of work to prepare Pacific for players can be very huge - that's the main problem IMHO
  • Having safe crafting and resource base in the Pacific can be considered by many as P2W forcing them to buy DLC to do war there

Gunnery Chest :

A new reward, for example if we come to reward the pvp ranking, or in a new pvp mission.

This chest would give 2 different kinds of special cannon (navy blomefield, congreve or obusier). I was thinking of making 2 x 11 guns. to not unbalance the number of guns in service.

This addition would allow the pvp player to have special cannons without having to do the pve, just like the wooden chest in pvp missions.

Plus this will allow to see more player use their special canons without disturbing the game

Hermione DLC.

Allow Hermione to carry 32pds carros on the top deck also .

It will make this ship more usefull  than now , will be more true to its battle rating, will boost the sales hopefully and maybe this beautifull ship will be more used in ow(other similar ships like essex , trinco already carry 32 pds carros on the top deck and have now bigger crew.  essex with that bigger crew and 32pds on top deck has less BR )
