Fleet Wrecks - ideas

@Ink I have in the past posted about the Fleet Wreck Events, and I am revisiting that again today:

Currently, Fleet Wreck Events get cleared VERY quickly making the vast majority of Players simply ignore them unless they had a Ship in the vicinity at the time of the Event.

Here are some ideas to make these Events more fun and to make them more enticing for more Players:  A ) Each Deadman's Chest could be made to weigh more, they could easily be taken up to ~1700-1750 and still fit in a Trader Brig;  B )  Have the weather in the Wreck Event Area be nasty rain with thick fog -  maybe with brief moments of slight clearing, and keep it that way until Server Reset;  C ) Make it so each Player can only take 1 Deadman's Chest per Event; this could be done by having the all of the Wrecks either disappear for a Player after they successfully collect one, or,  have all subsequent wrecks they find register as EMPTY for them.  Otherwise a Player with an Indiaman and 1 or 2 in Fleet can easily collect ALL of the Chests from any one event; which is absurd.  D ) Turn off all of the "Wind Gusts" in the Fleet Wreck Area;  And lastly, E ) More individual Shipwrecks could be added to each Event, which may mean placing wrecks even further out from the epicenter.

Hell no. Fishing alts destroyed the worth of sealed bottles (and of deadman's chest too,  as many alts are used to camp the fleet spawn area and loot everything in the first minute.)

Maybe there shouldn't be a symbol on the map indicating the position of the fleet, but the message "a fleet was lost on its way from Gustavia to Truxillo. Heavy northern winds were reported, which may have pushed the fleet some way south". The fleet should then always be in a different spot, so that no one can successfully wait for it to appear.
