4th Rate Patrol zones

why would you do 4th rate patrol zones when someone in a second rate can just roll in tag ya. murder you while your helpless and you cant even get damage while in a 4th rate, in the 4th rate patrol zone.

Should be able to outrun a 2nd rate with your 4th rate tho 😜 And i think they added it to give people content who like sailing smaller ships. If every PZ would be for all types of ships you'd see a spam of redoutables all the time.

Yes, my understanding is that if you are tagged by an enemy ship that is too big for the PZ then that is just a normal open world battle (no circle of death)

Yes it is. So no reward except usual ones.

If you tag a player in a bigger ship, will it be patrol battle ? I know it works that way with AI, but is it the same if you tag players ?

It’s the same. Both sides need to be eligible.
