Free ships for poor captains

Recommended Posts

Especially new players have problems to earn enough money to replace their lost ships.

Therefore I suggest that the Admiralty provides a daily ship, without port bonus, according to the rank of the player, but not above 5th rate.

The ship shall be random, in the full historical setup (guns, marines, wood) and not tradeable. Maybe with one set of repairs for hull and sails, that cannot be removed. Guns shouldn't be removable, too. Breaking the ship up shall give no mats, to avoid abuse.

Just take the ship, sail and fight.

Could be even redeemed by everyone, though most, that can afford better ships, won't use it.

no no no nono..    this is not a other title ....

every captain has the free basic cutter (given by the game)  for free.... anytime .....anywhere ...

it is better to increase the earnings for the 7 th rate and 6 rate to a equal not underpaid system....  for doing battle in impossible ships (( and  i am  not going to give the MB the blame to earn 30 xp )...against any other 6 rate  that is just weird.....

but not to give ships  away for free

also rookies have the free basic cutter .....any time.... everywhere...

and they don't need the next ocean killer privateer for free...

also if you have no money to buy the basic cutter in the shop something is wrong with the brain...

I do agree that if you earn money like 1354 reaals  for doing battle in a 6 rate and see the price of a  particular upgrade in the shop .

>> and think you can not compete.>>>   that is more of a problem than the earning to buy a ship.

Every captain has the free basic cutter  (given by the game)  for free anytime

it's also weird to think that a war ship earns money >>> the  captain earns money ...

a fishing vessel goes out to fish ,...and the captains get paid ......not the war ship commander  >> who is not fishing ....

But for you a Other  slogan:

Free upgrades for poor captains

Basic Upgrades for free ...

Greetings.

So you say free Admiralty ships with restrictions in outfitting them is not ok, while DLC ships with possible port bonus and free choice to outfit them is ok?

don't put words in the mouth my friend...

something is upsetting you,. but is also not valid.

you..... have to play the game ...

you can build ships and  it cost you only time ,( and smart play)   [[you can even build a ship, what after been build>>> has given you profit already ]] )

DlC ships is a premium bought ship (To reduce time ...and that's all [also no great pb bonus << what is already a small  drawback )

the counterpart of a dlc, has always have been  a  similar counterpart  (better) ship.

but you

have to do trade .

have to do buildings.

have to do the shipyard .

Have to  use the brain.

Get advise.

perhaps you need a veteran clan to learn the tricks.

And how many do pvp in basic cutters? Admin promotes BC pvp aswell but the fact is BC pvp is just propaganda.

Snows and princes, yes.

Neck, the aggressive AI doesn't even work, newbies attacked daily, enemies roam around capitals at will, if only newbies could defend themselves with those princes, learn something!

Something like a DLC learners pack with some ships, second lieutenant rank and some reals to buy cannons (or supply cannons fitted and limited repairs to sail immediately), it is not silly.

PS, possible DLC learner pack ships: snow, privateer, navy brig, t brig, t lynx, this would be a good beginners start to the game.

Or join a clan and they will give you all the small ships you need...for free.

Or join a clan

1) Most top clans won’t accept newbies.

2) Then there are the clans who are out to exploit them.

3) Don’t know the solo ratio in NA but world gaming solo ratio is 80%, if there’s a comparison.

4) Many new players choose to create there own new clan of there friends only.

How do you think these newbie points would work with your simple conclusion of  "join a clan"?, how does this solve these points for poor captains?

Starting in this game is the hardest thing. Those first couple months will destroy your will to live. If you get past those 2 months it'll be easy to earn money.

Giving free ships isn't the answer, providing more documentation is. The best way to make money is trading, with a t-brig that you can buy extremely cheaply you'll be able to make a million or more very very easily. The game doesn't explain trading or the map tools at all, the exams are hello kittying horrible for this as well.

The best thing for noobs is to find a clan asap and get advice.

i don't agree

plenty of clans who will take beginners ...

try to learn at a veteran clan ....you can always leave anytime,  and start your own clan after the learning process

I can't think of any clan in my nation that does not accept newbies. If your clan is not accepting newbies then maybe you should.

I can't think of any clans in my nation with the reputation of exploiting newbies. Maybe you should call out those clans on the forums with proof of exploitation.

If new players want to wing it and make their own clan then great. There are always other clans that are eager to help new players regardless. I sometimes help newbies out by giving away ships...maybe one day they might decide to join my clan...or just build goodwill.

If your nation is full of jerk clans, then that's the problem, not the lack of free ships.

There’s no p2w in this game, Dev’s support DLCs to its fullest extent. A kick-starter DLC is completely within Dev's DLC doctrine.

DLC learners packs, should have one T-Brig, this is the most important ship to start newbies income grind. If DLC learners packs was made to be repeatable buys, then players could buy as many as they want, to learn with for as many replacements as they need. Wouldn't affect the high-end game or RvR, only low-end where new players need it the most. In the long-run it's gotta to produce more pvp.

The NA 'solo' beginners game could do with a whole lot more of 'support' from Dev's without the reliance on in-game clans.

So are you going to substantiate any of your prior claims about newbies getting 'exploited'? Or are you just going to deflect?

Just hang around KPR for a while watch the exploitation, grieving by clans, free ships would appsolutely mitigate loss demoralization.

I'm not a GB players, so please elaborate.

Alternatively, you could organize a coast guard and drive the marauders away.

After passing 1 exam, the ship is given.

After the final frigate Hercules.

Plus Pandora's frigate can be made every day, in any tree. How many more ships does it take for a new player?

Many people remember the times when it was impossible to quickly raise the level after the final exam. Personally, I think that the introduction of rapid level up after the final exam is a mistake.  It killed the game on small frigates. There is no "experience ladder" when you have to learn the basics of control from a small fast sailing boat to 1 rayte.

Sorry, translated with translator

It's possible to capture AI ships , what do u wish more , they can lvl up how we did with basic cutter and doing trading missions . I've spent too much time to travel and earning reals and doubloons, why should they not . + there are 5that rate dlcs ships like Hercules witch is a good ship for hunting and for capturing AI 5 th rates.
