@adminSo, basically, after @Liq opened a survey on this: Cattura.thumb.JPG.217584a24dad2edf276580e1f939f5f2.JPG

And you clearly see that 97.62 % of the voters are AGAINST removing the cooldown (hopefully you find a solution BEFORE removing it, and not vice versa), you remove the cooldown anyway? What do we achieve this way? I don't get it... I simply don't get it.

I don't get either.

Those % should not be enough. What is the point of user feedback I'm wondering.

Seems they want fight fire with explosives. It was reported that cooldown timers were abused by alt clans to secure ports. But removing cooldowns on live server in released game (not beta)? Its atomic bomb to current war situation...

Cool-down on attacking and defending port battles temporarily removed!

Please don't. The community has made it very clear that this is a very bad idea. I think we'd all rather deal with the exploit that this is meant to fix instead of this madness.

There will be no cool-downs until we create an alternative to free for all hostility missions.
This is the only way as we are not planning to waste time on cool=down tribunals, we better code the solution. You are allowed to set the hostility and you are allowed to not come to port battle if you want currently. Its not against the rules. Cooldowns are useless with current implementation.

ps. Open battle ROE for example were not accepted initially by many and surveys did show that. But they were all wrong. Frontlines should be a hotbed of activity meanwhile.

So how does this work? Do clans not even get a chance to set a timer on a port they captured?

Why can't decisions be made that are in line with what the people that actually play the game want?

Timers? You can set the timer at any time.

so 2 or 3 tribunal threads that remain unanswered = blow everything up?

But there's only one case opened... how does it waste so much time?

Nations who used fake battles to create cooldowns have called this upon themselves. Thank them for this.
RVR will only become better as a result.

Bit of a disproportionate response I must say.

I agree - New port battle creation will be the way better. But right now i do not want and do not like nations hiding behind 2 day cool downs because their friends pressed a couple of buttons in an empty hostility mission. Additional changes will be done to hostility generation and entry but this needs work and more testing.

instead of removing cooldown, can you stop Port Battle until you have a new mechanic?

If it takes one week, maybe we can stand that. But if it takes more, or much more... RvR will destroy itself and big nations will have one more advantage, while little nations will collapse (even more). What's the benefit? Just put them on, again. You notice the community doesn't like this kind of exploits anyway. At what price people will abuse of cooldowns?

Well if i blamed every nation for shannanigans and exploits that would include every nation in the game and some of these are still possible in game. However i predict with this it will be like someone has frostbite in a finger so we just cut the arm off at the shoulder.

Maybe a clear and concise post by you on the forum that this is a no no and any future action shall be punished until you can hotfix the issue may be more productive.

This has the potential to snowball very fast with possibly dire consequences for population.

You cant punish for allowed mechanics. You can set up a port battle and you can have other priorities on the day of the port battle. You cannot prove its fake even if it was said to be fake. Fake decoy port battles are an allowed mechanics. But - we know people started using them to stop attacks and with front line mechanics it can block RVR completely to a certain direction.

As a result the cool-downs for next attack is no longer 2 days.

So perhaps rather than potentially blowing up the current map and nations losing ports they’ve put significant time into building up and securing.... simply turn off RVR for a week.  Unfettered flipping day after day is a recipe for one side to ultimately quit.

Wanna make things fun during self isolation 2020? Outlaw battles and drop RoE from regular fights so everyone who wants to...can have PvP chaos for a little while.

Forcing folks who are home, possibly worried about the shit storm in real life, shouldn’t have to be worried about their in-game lives as well.

In the words of Spike Lee.  Do the right thing.

So a few tribunals lead to a change that will burnout those playing rvr.

Cooldowns were critical to counter rvr exhaustion.

I would temporarily disactivate port battles instead until the fix is found.

- A community poll posted 18 hours ago asks players if the Port Battle Cooldowns should be removed entirely and the outcome is no by a landslide.
- One hour ago, Cool-down's are removed... 12 reactions on this announcement. All Negative sad emojis.

I do not understand the logic here, can someone help me explain 😅. This will most certainly steer players in the wrong direction.

Just my opinion..

Please implement ANY attempt at a solution before removing the cooldowns. Unless you're offering to pay us for a full-time job playing NA?

Could be a good idea to have no port battles until next patch, but we will run the short cooldown first.

Which also means no content for RvR players...

Can you tell us when next patch that should "fix" this issue will be deployed?
