Kreole
I haven't been so obsessed with... "well, what about the next turn?" ... since I can remember. Thanks to all the devs/producers and backers that have made this title possible! Currently, I'm not finding a way to remove an upgrade and replace it with another. I assume it's either not implemented yet or wasn't a design feature and am curios what all of you think. Thanks!!!

WilliamTheIII
Some upgrades are permanent while others are not. It would be very helpful if there was an indicator for which aren’t and which are.

Permanent upgrades have a hammer on top of a ship icon in the tooltip and in the list of upgrades.

Rygoat
Right click the non hammer upgrade to demount. It should give you a partial credit for demount (- $$$ as an upgrade "cost"). Though some permanent upgrades don't make sense, such as sails and rudder upgrades.

I agree, removal/replacement of Rigs, Sails and Rudder should be allowable with whatever the associated costs/time are ... Officers already sit out for healing, why not ships?
