Ships indestructible??

When i play my UK Campaign ships, both friend and foe seems to be indestructible … they take no hull dmg, i can destroy their armour but not sink them? Is this a bug? I'm currently playing on easy.

I downloaded the patch today, but it looks like the problem still exists.

Has the patch been released?  I've been in class all day but just tried again in a new British campaign after the launcher checked for updates.  I'm still not seeing any hull damage.  Do I need to repair or just wait for the patch?  I apologize if I seem impatient, I just want to verify if a patch has been released or not.  This is my first post and I have to say this game is awesome!  This is more of what I wanted out of Empire:  Total War.  Keep up the great work.

The patch was released few hours ago fixing missing hull damage, but we are going to continue to balance damage tomorrow. Because now it is overpowered. But we need to know that the issue is fixed in general.

It appears that the issue is largely fixed. As you said, damage to the hulls has now swung in the other direction, but with a little more balance, I think it’s back to normal. Thanks for the quick work, we all greatly appreciate it.
