Salty Dog (Xabaras)
I'm speechless... We were breathing water with some air in it as well... Does it get any more badass than that!? I feel like wimp now.
nornica
I love how he describe everything happening on a ship.. the struggle, the sea, the sailors that were taken by the sea, the captain that jumped of the boat to save 2 sailors, the funny dog. It's so calm not only to watch, but just listen to his stories. I need to go on a boat and pass the Cape Horn!
Windy
My Grandfather server aboard the Cutty Sark, in the 1890s, sailed out to Australia where he settled and married...

Mirones
Four of the Flying P-Liners still exist today: the Pommern is a museum ship in Mariehamn, Finland. the Peking is a museum ship in New York City (South Street Seaport). the Passat is a museum ship in Lübeck's sea resort Travemünde, Germany. the Padua is the only ship still active: she is today a school ship and sails as the Kruzenshtern under Russian flag. nornica
Many years ago I saw the Padua in one port during sailing on SY Zawisza Czarny. Or maybe it was Passat, cause we docked also in Lubeck.. not remember correctly now. The crew was in full uniforms and stuff, so I suppose it was the Russian ship.I felt like i was in a rowboat.
