@admin check this beatiful work, you guys are lucky to have this player base.

A much needed aspect of the game, there should be in game hyperlinks for this kind of work.

well it would be a good tutorial aspect for newbies.

link in the tutorial  or help section ?? perhaps

@admin If you have ever listened to me, you should include a permanent link to this guide in the game.

You were/are concerned about new player retention, this guide will clearly helps.

Yes, but thé link will change when the guide will be updated, at the latest with next patch. I don't know the way to update a file with Google drive. I can only delete the old file and place a new file, with a new link...

Unless someone more skilled than I in file sharing sites give me a site in which:

  • Files can be replaced by new revisions when they are updated, without changing the downloading link (mandatory)
  • Comments can be added by uploader: date, revision number, comments on last changes (very useful)
  • Only the uploader can change the file, or specific users authorised by him (mandatory security option)
  • Download counter (not mandatory, but just fun for me)

I can write easily and rapidly, thanks to my IRL job, but I need help if we (Naval Action users) need a permanent DL link.

😅😅😅😉

First post updated (new link to new revision).

The new revision includes:

  • Addition of explanations and screen shots about the Logbook.
  • Update of the ship list, including new ships
  • Correction of some errors (thanks to @Golova Magnit)

Please revert potential errors or improvement suggestions here!

And above all: Have fun! :) :) :) :) :)

Is it  possible to keep a permanent link. I've been linking the wrong file to noobs for some days now.

See my post on December 27th. I agree. I just don't know how to do it (for free).

For the moment, the only permanent link is the link to this forum topic.

Great guide, does anybody have access to the information for materials / crafting guide for the forge ? a spreadsheet or online resource

couldn't find any information anywhere, or could be missing what is blindingly obvious somewhere

I'll try to find this for next revision. At least by taking infos in my forge.

Thanks for the remark. 🙂
