AUTUMN SALE STARTED - Nominate Naval Action

Recommended Posts

Great News Captains!

Autumn sale started and this is the first time almost all the imported ships and other premium content items items are going to be on the discount.
If you hesitated to buy them before maybe it is the perfect time to purchase them.

Buying premium content not only helps you in game, but also helps to create new content for the game, pay for the crew and servers and continue to improve the current features. As a DIRECT results of DLC sales the following ships will be added in the next 3 months (some as DLC some as in free in game content)

  • HMS Leopard
  • Redoutable
  • Implacable

Additionally work has started on

  • Wrecker
  • Classic HMS Victory (the proper one, with balconies)
  • Rotterdam Indiaman Refit

Steam 2019 Awards: This steam sale also comes with Nominations, where you can nominate Naval Action for the annual award in one of the proposed categories like
"Better with friends" or "Best game you suck at"  or "Labor of Love".

Award nomination is not mandatory but it would be good to get one more award (we got one in 2016 as indie MMO of the year) and say thank you to the community.

Really thank you. How do you know that? Where is the historical information?

I used the word "if" - meaning I don't know if Rotterdam Indiaman is, as I suspect she could be, an East Indiaman.

The difference is size and amament between West and East Indiamen:

<<East Indiamen were the largest merchant ships regularly built during the late 18th and early 19th centuries, generally measuring between 1100 and 1400 tons burthen (bm). >> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Indiaman

<<sailing ship formerly running to the West Indies and the east coast of America and usually much smaller than East Indiamen>>

Wait what 2 Dutchies, i got 2 questions about it.

1: Which variation of the Wreker will be in game the pre-refit 80 gun or the refitted 90 gun?

2: Could you explain the Rotterdam indiaman refit? What does this package contain? Bigger hold, Shallow water travel, more guns?

chances for this ship 10% (but these are good chances) lots of paintings and sculptures might make it impossible to add.

... and looks like two full battery decks plus quarterdeck. Pretty sure it's an East Indiaman.

She is one Look at the big VoC (R) at the stern

the R in this context is for the city were the ship is sailing for which is Rotterdam. VOC had multiple seats across the coast
