Lately, I keep thinking that we spend too much time in Naval Action. Have you ever considered premium access?

I imagine that a premium access to the game has no advantages in the fight, but a massive time savings. How does that work? The majority of the game is based on transporting goods from A to B. However, most players have no time and no desire for it in the evenings.

If you have premium, you could then simply order the goods from the NPC and the NPC delivers the goods. I think this would be good for the game and the game development. I would want to spend something like that for 5-10 € per month, just to save myself all the time.

What should premium make?
- Time savings through goods delivery
- Cosmetic stuff (Painted Sails or whatever)
- Financial help for the developers to develop the game faster

That's a good point.

Once ago i suggested the gold chest or the gold indiaman DLC: you pay 40€, for example, and you have an indiaman gold with inside 500K doblons or more .

Is possible to think at more cheaper one. gold LGV, gold Trade brig, gold trade Snow, gold t Lynx , cold cutter gold chest.

That will help to make useless have an alt to craft more trade mission

Those are terrible (pay to win) ideas.  The game isn't just RVR or pure warship combat....it's economic warfare and pushing your cargo runs through a hostile environment.  There seems to be a meta now where players think they can run a trader (or fleet) with no escort or even guns.  They are then upset when their time has been wasted and their goods (normally just cargo missions) don't get through.  The game requires you to put in time doing the cargo stuff.  If you want to do any crafting, you have to move cargo.  It would be very unfair if players could skip the time to move cargo ships.  Everybody (even the PVP hunters) has to either move cargo themselves or have peons who do it for them.  Some have just figured out how to do it smarter/safer/more efficiently.

I can't agree with you. It's not pay to win. It's a good idea. Economic Warfare doesn't exist. Nobody hunts traders because of loot. It's all about PVP Marks..

Yes its that boring except u cant skip it in this game.

Thing is everyone should be able to create npc fleets, to carry cargo by paying dubloons etc., not only the ones paying real money.

1-2 trade permit everyday, use Loki to defend your npc fleet ? That I would love, other guys with smart ideas can go play mobile games.

My suggestion: delete the broken economy

free ships for everyone, only currency is gold which you gain by doing damage and killing to AI or players and which you need to buy ship and port upgrades

well DLC ships and alts are also  pay to win

The player with the DLC Ship  dont have to look around for Teak and White Oak like the one that just crafted his ship in the shipyard. And when they meet the second will lose a lot respect the first one.

i dont like mobile games because the screen is too small but i enjoy spend some money in ships in WOWS if that helps dev to hire more people to have more contents. marketing managers to have more advertisement and so on

Find a man who like to travel in free time

We've done that all this time back to mid 2016, we have three years of data showing exactly how many people who are truly excited about eco-sandbox gameplay. I suppose the hard-core eco-sandbox guys are in effect happy with the status quo, since getting numbers up would entail shifting focus from eco work to fighting fun.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I DO hunt enemy traders to slow down the enemy economy.   Every trader full of passengers and cargo that I sink is a few hundred grand that the enemy can't spend on fighting ships, and an hour that guy has to waste replacing the lost earnings instead of getting out and ganking our own noobs and traders.   If enough people do this, it CAN affect the national power balance.

PVE farming in a good spot is WAY more lucrative for CMs and gold chests than chasing enemy tbrigs and tlynxes around the map.  I don't even take 6+7th pvp missions, but I sink every trade ship I see.

What if you're gimping your own faction's economy by spending time denying the enemy petty cash instead of making big bucks yourself?

We have already "Premium" to save time. We have the dlc ships ... Just redeem and sail to Combat. We have other DLCs ...

Difference to your suggestion is only the kind of payments. Devs prefere a pay one-time system ...  think they have their reasons ...

If you want support the devs/game Just buy further copys of the Game and give it to your friends to invite them to the Game

Btw: cant see p2win in the actual DLCs ... they are real "save time" dlcs

it would be a great idea in general to make it possible to set up contracts for npc's to deliver goods to your port, It would make a natural market and would certainly be better then having mahogany grow far north in the United states or pine trees down in brazil. And it has also been suggested earlier :) Although im not for it to be some kind of "Premium" to unlock this feature, it should something that should be some of the foundation for the economy,

Supply and Demand. Have you guys seen the show Shipping Wars? lets inspire from that.

Say you can put up a contract in Panama for 1K White Oak.

The contract sits there for x hours, you set a due date of when you want it delivered (if no players takes the contract or gets an agreed contract between the trader and the contractor, the order goes to the NPC for the cheapest price). Which means that if you dont want the offer from players which would be delivered quicker then you can wait for the npc's to do it cheaper but wait abit longer.

The payment i guess would have to be done when the order is delivered to prevent griefing/exploits.

How will people know there is a contract for it in Panama?

In each port there is produced White Oak, you have an economy/trade tab where you pick up certain missions, or it could even be in the Store, an own page called "Delivery orders".

There it would be contracts from players requesting items delivered to them. It would say the name of the contractor, delivery destination, x hours left until contract falls, due date, type of item and quantity, as well as the currently lowest bid on the contract. I would assume this would give a fair competition between the traders and a fair price for the contractor.

Better idear would be to have Ai ships which deliver your stuff for some Realis. And could of caurse beeing intercepted. and deliver just to national Ports. That could make economic warfare interesting again. Take new players into PVP send them to go for those traders and would skip booring trading runs and make more time vor RVR or PVP. Those Players which want to make shure there stuff is ariving need to travel them by themself. That avoids booring fights where you can actualy just run away (Trader vs Warship)  and you dont care about what happend in the battle just shoot some sails to make it more easy for ur Revenge fleet. The chaser will anyway get you if you dont board him.

Prices around 1 Realis each whight each 10Km Something that around. And no delivery missions that way. Just recaurces Books and those stuff.

Pro:

No more boring time for all.

Ecomomy boost

Option for Players which dont have the time to travel materials to get good ships.

Exchange of Stupid loot from AI traders for maybee realy usfull stuff.

Economy Warfare when all Ai traders are exchanged that way realy an option. I mean if you hunt down all traders which go to a nation craftingport... they will heave a leak on Recaurces soon.

Encurage Coast guard actions: It could be your trader or the trader of a clnamate.
