nerf dissatisfaction with delivery missions.

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I wish to express my dissatisfaction in the nerf that was done in the delivery missions, I get less for mission carrying the same weight, this is disgusting, unfair and unbalanced. It seems like something they did with the new CoD or something that Brazilians do, "you" buy 100m tape, in the roll only comes 50m but you pay as if it were a 100m roll.

discouraged from doing delivery mission, the gain does not match the time spent on the trip and the weight carried.

Please undo this or reduce the weight of the transported item to be consistent with the value.

PS: where are the missions that always gave 1000 gold coins?

This will have a huge impact on the price of high tier ships

Also, new players will struggle big time in building any 4th rate and up (not even metioning setting up a level 3 shipyard, which will become almost impossible).

Good luck ... you will need it

or simply many dropped the game.
If you change something without rebalancing the whole context it will cause problems.

We ? Or the game as a whole... I think both :P

Honestly, i hate doomsaying but cant remember a worser update up to now:

- taking away the Players important sorts of income

- on the other hand, making it much easier to get ganked even in your best ships

- and NOTHING in return for all of this :(

I agree, I really liked the idea of the "wind circles" I would like to congratulate them for that. but in contrast a nerf in something really unnecessary is really relevant in the game, summary, one step forward and 2 steps back, this can have annoying consequences for the game.

This feels like a stealth buff to Russia.

With its huge economy, the Russians are going to be least affected by the mission nerf.  Small nations are going to get absolutely screwed by the dubs and reals reduction.

And if anyone loses their level 3 shipyard, they're SO much more likely to quit the game now.

@admin did NOT think this through.

I praised this game very much, especially because it was the only game that paid reasonably well for delivery tasks (time vs money), I invited a couple of friends who said they would buy the game, now until I'm discouraged to play, the While I was traveling in a day and could make 1.5KK or even 2KK with luck, now I will not go beyond 500K or 1KK, and I will still lack the gold coins. I did not like it and I leave once again my discontent with this action taken by the developers.
plz, I would like this nerf to be undone, I do not want an "Elite Dangerous" just than ships.

The delivery missions were for some people the only reason to leave safe waters, now that the reward is much lower, they will think twice.

On the one hand I like that it will be more difficult to build the big ships, on the other hand reducing dubs will reduce the ability to jump between outposts, buying books at the admiralty, crafting mods, etc...

I remember admin once said, that the price for doubloons shouldbe like 40 reals on the market, well, before the patch it was more like 150, now it will be much higher.

To reduce building 1-3rd rates, some other rare resource should be needed to build them, like the gold coins from 2016. Those may only be capped from ai traders to have equal chances for all players.

RIP anyone wanting to build a shipyard. Acquiring 85k doubloons to go from no shipyard to level 3, plus needing the doubloons for the bigger ships all using 500 doubloon kill/hunt missions and/or  500-2000 in PvP - Yeah no thanks. Glad I have my L3 already, else I'd be screwed. Now add onto that Forge and Workshop, and GG. Just ridiculous. Another unnecessary change made without considering the consequences.

All you had to do was give doubloons the same treatment as reals if you did anything (half the reward - 500 instead of 1000). Although in my opinion with how many things doubloons is used for, they needed no change at all. I expect that from today, you will probably see almost noone invest in a L3 shipyard if they don't already have one.

I think its a good Change. Its a nerf for the alt-afk-sailing-economy, and a buff for fighting pve and PvP.

If someone wants combat, he goes to combat, you try to force someone to this is the worst thing that has, the payer will leave the game!
The game is not focused on that, it will end up that many people will stop making ships. Many people will stop investing their time in the game, AFK or No-AFK are still players who paid for the game.

Just as a reminder, the devs have said that the new wind conditions drastically reduce travel times. That's why I would check that first, before I speak again of the downfall and the end of the game.

I have no problem with this, but then they need to lower the cost for buildings and ships. As a new player, I want to do crafting and make ships. I should not have to do a buttload of kill/PVP kills just to afford a tier 1 shipyard.

Likewise, if I want to make a 4th rate or more, it will take 10+ kill missions (1x 1st rate) just to get the doubloons to build that. Grind for the sake of grind is not fun, and will only result in people quitting when they lose their favourite ship and have to spend hours upon hours of grinding just to get another. DLC ships just became OP again.

Yes. But they also completely removed any doubloons from trade missions making any sort of buildings near impossible if you don't already have them. All the ports I've been to have sold out of doubs already.  The Doubloon market is gone basically overnight.

irrelevant that, most of what makes this delivery of the "wind" is irrelevant.

Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are still doubloons for missions, although I can not say if they are so common.

I looked in 7 cities yesterday, and none of them had, so I believe you're wrong.

I have so far been to about a dozen ports and seen 0 trade missions with doubloons. In the past, there was usually at least 1 per port. If I have to sail to 20 ports to get 1% of a level 3 shipyard, this is a problem.

Again, no issue if they reduce the building and ship cost, but as it is I think this is a bad change.

Travel time might be reduced, but at the same time the chances of attacking a traveller are reduced.

When people don't want to sail, why not giving then an arena, instead of punishing all others with this wind thing.

My words, if people want to have any ship without much effort, even if the search of enemy ships takes too long, why not finally abolish the open world, introduce a lobbying system and simply select the desired ship before each battle.

You do it the wrong way. Attack open world bots. Sometimes a single ship can have 2000 doubs in hold. If you find a rare book you could sell it up to 50k doubs ...

With the bigger fleets now that will BE pretty easy ... buy a LO/Wo aga, find a 10 frigates fleet (pro tip: guayacka-somewhat-free town, pls rename that City) and get rich 😄

Yes. Again, my point still stands. I (or any player) would have to spend hours upon hours doing something we may not like (PvE grind for the sake of grind) just to afford a tier 1 shipyard. Yet alone a tier 3. Not everyone wants to do mindless PvE to get stuff.

Reduce the building costs, and I have no problem (Tier 1 no doubs, tier 2 10k, tier 3 25k for example).

All they needed to do (if anything) was give it the same treatment as reals by halving the reward and whilst people may complain a bit, it would be nothing like it is now.

Different strokes for different folks. Myself, I never used an alt for trade missions as sailing 1 ship is hard enough with all the shallows in the middle of nowhere. Only ever use an alt for the extra buildings + labour hours, and even then haven't collected any mats in weeks.

This provided CHOICE. This CHOICE is now gone. So kindly piss off with your attitude. I never once insulted your CHOICE to farm AI, don't insult my CHOICE to do trading whilst watching movies/youtube.
