Purchasing New Ships

Good morning or good evening to where everybody is from or Good Afternoon.  I'm brand new to this game seems quite relaxing at points.  5 hours into the game and I'm enjoying it.  So far I've looked all over the internet and have found nothing on purchasing larger ships outside of the basic cutter that I get when I log into the game.  I do mainly PVE.  There was also no solid how to on choosing a port that I've found that gave step by step how toos.  Anyways suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Look into the market in your Capital Port to get more ships. Make sure you do the Tutorial 1st, (watch you tube on how to do it). When compete you will sail Surprise. It's the fastest way to skip small boring ships.

Yea thanks @Audacious after about 20 minutes of fooling around I was able to get things figured out.  I still haven't done the Tutorial I probably should do that now that I have a few hours invested into the game.  And being so new to the game I don't mind experiencing "The Boring Ships".  Gotta learn some how right? LOL.
