How to build more then 1 ship

How do you go by building more then one ship design some missions like I think the 3rd one ask for either 1 battleship or at least 2 armored cruisers how do you add the additional ship? the moment I click off of the ship I'm designing the ship design disappears? How do you add a 2nd or even a 3rd ship design please advise

It will automatically make as many ships as it can for the mission budget and once you finish your design. The number should be near the top of the screen. Make it under half the budget for 2.

You can only ever have one type of ship. Make it cheap enough that you can afford 2, and two will be spawned.

Yep, at this time, you only use one class of ships, if you get cost 50% or less you get 2, 33% or less for 3... 8% or less for 12, etc.

I’ve gotten as high as 68 ships though I don’t recommend it right now it breaks the game badly

It would be interesting if we actually could make two different types to send on a mission, though. Think Bismarck + Prinz Eugen! 😛
