More camera controls

Currently, it only appears that we have a free camera, which we have to move around and position manually.  It would be nice to have the ability to have a camera option where it follows and pans around the player's ship, or a selected ship.  It would also be nice to have the ability to have the following camera lock to the selected target and always keep both player and target centered on screen.

All that does (that I've seen) is bring you back to the ship - it won't keep the camera centered on the ship afterwords, the ship will just sail off the screen unless you keep scrolling after it.

It should keep the camera centered on the ships afterwards. It does so for me and most youtube videos I watched. Maybe a bug ?

Try to select the division with the F keys. This should center on the lead ship and follow it around.

Clicking on the ship icon did the trick - I was clicking on the actual ships.  Thanks for the tip.  There are still some suggestions that I offered for helpful camera controls that I don't think are currently in the game.
