Cumulative hotfix notes for patch 35

If i intrept it correct ow rules stay the same.. lower br stays ipen and can be joined just as it was.

For higher br its 2 minutes just as it was.

This is now only applied to patrol zone aswell, so if 5 russians attack 4 brits, the rest of the massive russian gank fleet has to join in 2 mins or havee to wait outside, where as before pz battle stayed open, so even after 10 mins the rsst of russian gank fleet could join

Patrol RoE is equal to OW RoE now (with the exception of Solo Patrol, the only change regarding Solo Patrol is that all ships except Basic cutter are now counted).

There is no indication in the OP that the reinforcement period has changed from 20 minutes to two. "In 2 minutes" = two minutes after battle starts, not two additional minutes. Especially if one considers the first indented bullet point:

Gankers can join in 2 minutes or can join in 20 minutes Wasa tagging a 1st rate (Wasa is enough but if he struggles another Santi can join his side in 20 min!). Gank a Trinco with 2 Hercules, he is done, may be invite 1 more ship after 18 minutes ? 

Most idiotic ROE ever only favoring veterans in smaller hunting ships. Why not make it 20 minutes both side open but late joiner as time passes joins far away ?

That would be good too.  Hey, I was happy with the 2 min join timer on both sides, but we play the cards we're dealt.  When I tag a Surprise in my Herc or join a higher BR battle, I don't check birthdays.  The 20 min timer is designed with the specific intent that players will join the weak side.  That has also blown up in my face as recently as last night.

Geez it changes nothing in OW so why all the posts about it being good for hunters..nothing changes, only in pz..

i agree, it only gives vets and players that knows the RoE inside out a big advantage, could be interesting if it was 2->2 timer, not the 2->20 timer that will be now. They could atleast make it count for a PvP battle not PvE battles

But what would a 2-2 timer change? Both sides can join now for 2 mins after that the higher br side closes..so its 2-2 now and after only the weaker side can reinforce..i think its fine

Well, we’ve been requesting pirate changes for 3 years.  Maybe if it involved a DLC we’d get something.

Can we have the 5 knowledge slots unlockable for the traders?

In another patch note, we got the information that traders must now be farmed like other ships (this modif is made) and that they will have the 5 knowledge slots like other ships (still to be made).

Why nerfing my trader cutter? Is she OP? I got two PVP kills using her last Tursday near Vera Cruz...

But you gotta admit the player base’s requests for pirate over the years where more in the line of a special pirate mechanic that would make them completly different from regular nations. 

Instead, the only feature that made them different is removed...

3 knowledge slots on trader cutter is a bug, will be fixed
