Regarding Wasa class
Wasa is a 4th rate (its in your threedecks link too). Wasa we have in game is not Wasa, its  Chronprins Gustav Adolf (its written on the stern) and it will be renamed before release.

Hmhm, threedecks....

Wasa draught says 60 gun ship, Gustav Adolph-class (Rättvisan) draught says 60 gun ship. The latter were only 4' longer anyway.

I do not have a problem with a 3th or 4th rate DLC ship, why not (yes ok I also bought the Tirpitz in WOW because I did not feel like forever exp for the Bismarck 😉 )

However, one should then return to the old Eco system with the rare woods. Hard to get at the moment and with the DLC I'm making a Live Oak / White Oak with one click.

I'm always looking forward to the new ships

(sorry for Google translate 😉 )

Wasa is a 4th rate. Rättvisan is not! What is so hard to understand about that? Not trying to piss you off, but you have to realise what you are doing to whatever remains of the communities trust in you!

sorry to pop you bubble but we never considered 4th rates lineships. In fact the expclicit promise was 3rd rates and above.
Here is the post mentioning this in 2015 but i cannot find the original post yet.

I still think you should of named it Gustav Adolf for the 3rd and Had the lessers Wasa at 4th.  More ships is always better, than just have one a note special event and the other BP craftable.  Well honestly all ships should be craftable.  We should be able to buy the BP's and craft them if we don't want to just buy notes.

Must be mighty convenient to say that a ship is not a ship but another ship....so long as it proves my point.

So the wasa is not the wasa...even though it has been the wasa since it came in the game.

Funny how that seems to work.

You are missing the point, mate... Rättvisan is de facto a 3rd rate. End of story^^

Maybe you can read the letters on the stern and check for yourself. I have heard it says Gustav Adolf

Wasa class had multiple ships in it and several of them were called 3rd rates by three decks and several are called 4th rates. We made the mistake using that website and made wasa 4th rate first.. Then we nerfed it.. then it was found that chronprins was a 3rd rate (but wasa was not). So it was reclassed.
I do not know how to explain. It not funny because of that mistake we had to make wasa again, but we found a better sounding name in that class group. Rettvizan sounds better than both adolf and wasa.

People come down again 🙂 Then the ship is not a 3th rate but a 4 th rate, does not matter .... Let's test it and then we can get upset.
However, we should also think of the opportunity players and make the rare woods accessible again (also for solo players)

Stats define the ship not some website. De facto i can make it 100hp and call it a light first rate. What will threedecks say on this? I do not care

I like the rettvisan name better. Just like Cherub frigate.  Do you know why cherub frigate is called cherub - Херувим?? Because its an anagram that works if you remove one letter from the word, anagram perfect for a pirate frigate.

Why even argue?  Sounds like it’s already made and will happen.  Promises have been broken before.  People will still end up buying it because 3rd rates (or 4th rates...) will be difficult to build and its easier to pay 15 bucks and get a free one everyday.

It’s a win win for admin.

Just to get the history straight...

there was only one Wasa-class ship, the Wasa. Then were was the Gustav Adolph-class with 10 ships total (including the Rättvisan).

Same answer. According to your sources Wasa is a 4th rate. Rettvizan is just a name. I should have called Kate, or Elizabeth or both, but I called her Rettvisan, because nordic countries like Rettvisan AND russians like Retvizan too. (russian viking hero) + Its a nice cross reference our other game on dreadnaughts https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_battleship_Retvizan

Hope you will not get attached to names.

@admin May want to change your steam description then. "Hadcore fantasy" Not very realistic ignoring facts from a source you use for many other ships.

I get you dont like to see your ideas be disliked by so many but what stops you just releasing this ship as normal, and rather give us some other ship as DLC. Would be a lot more painless to admit your mistake.

If you look for any age of sail blueprint this forum comes up. Search age of sail, our screens and videos come up.
We at GL have the biggest collection of age of sail literature in eastern europe (bigger than most museums).
I am sorry but we are the source.

Retvisan is in Wasa class. I will make it a 4th rate. You don't like it. What do you think will happen?  It will carry 24lb and will be on par with other 4th rates. Wasa(Gustav Adolf will be buffed) i will keep wasa name for him because I like it more.

Will permits for most ships be available in the Admiralty shops, right now I don't see permits for the Bellona, Indef and others.
