Knowledge Slots: How to craft special books

Despite being a long time captain in this game, there are many things I still do not understand. I would assume this particular subject to be pertinent to new captains as well.

I have noticed on many pro captains ships that their Knowledge Slots are filled with rare/unique/special books that are not the regular/standard books. Can (and will) someone please make a list of these rare/unique/special books and how to craft them? I do not even know the names of these things, so I am sorry I cannot offer a specific question for each of them.

Are you talking Besides Art of Ship Handling, Gunnery Encyclopedia, and Book of 5 Rings? 

NA-map has the recipes for the three I stated above. 

The Rest, if not in the admiralty are all RNG drops from AI wrecks.

TY, do you know the entire list? I always see so many odd ones that don't have the standard book icons.

All this info, IMO, should be in game. @admin Currently, there is nothing in game that informs captains as to what even is possible for crafting. Also, may I suggest that you make items inside Clan Warehouses have pop-ups like everywhere else does? Also, for the paints, show pictures of the ship with the paints applied when we mouse over it?

I certainly do know of it, those guys do aan amazing job on it, but on there I never saw anything about Specialty/Unique Knowledge Books......actually, I just found some things...but it doesn't distinguish between it being regular books or specialty books...so my small mind was/is confused. At any rate, no new player should have to use a 3rd party project to know aspects of the game. This all should be in game, IMO.

Yes, in game encyclopedia, referance, logbook whatever they call it. 

Everything from crafting to survival to ships to trading to... 

Even in game map, you should be able to plot routes, share information with friends or clan mates. More detailed information when you hover a port. 

Shortly Felix map should be in the game

So do I need sealed bottles or must I sink AI ships and loot them? Or do both ways work? Is there a way with higher chance to succeed?

Anybody has any clue?

Chests.  I got a rare book from a Captains chest the other day (5th rate PVP mission).  I think you can get a Captains chest from PVE also.
