Njord
I am very thankful for this new SOL and it is indeed an excellent work of art. Now I am interested in the history of the ship but could not find much, other than its plans and specifications. I am also curious about the theme of the figurehead, which I suspect to depict Hercules wearing the hide of the Nemean lion (?). Some input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you gentlemen. jodgi
Oooof! Christian figurehead is so... handsome it has me questioning my sexuality. Too bad I don't have Cecilia, she would set me straight (pun defo intended).

Njord
All I am really getting out of this is the ship fought at the Battle of Copenhagen (1801) and was burned down / destroyed there. Not a very rich history for the flagship of the danish navy, but that is probably to be assumed, considering how expensive and important it was. Anyone can confirm with source what the decorations depict, especially the bow figure?
