I shoot my cannons several times and i boarded and sunk a belle poule with only 2.4k of damage. Is that a bug, or only sinking a ship with cannons make damage to patrol count? The key for me as a newer player is that the damage mechanic, rather than rewards-per-sinking, is better for me in a group setting since I often won't have the biggest guns.
