Galt Posted November 3, 2018 Share Posted November 3, 2018 I am concerned that the value of Victory Marks has gone down. As far as I know, the only purpose they have is for buying ship permits; 1 for a 3rd rate, 2 for a 2nd, and 3 for a 1st. While I think that is a good system, I am curious why this seems to be the only use for them. With the current price of lineships what they are, and I am happy that they are more expensive, the number of them being built is drastically reduced. Which means that we are going to be sitting in increasing amounts of marks. My suggestion, @admin and question as to why this isn't the case (or wouldn't be the case) is why we can't cash in vic marks for 1000 doubloons, since we can pay 1000 doubloons for the mark. This would give another reason for players to make port battles, another reason to schedule battles for useless ports, and would help make sure that ports do actually pay for themselves. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
