Bellona gives more xp / cash then a St. Pavel

Recommended Posts

Hello guys

I just made 2 combat missions (2. rathe) and was fighting against a bellona and then a St. Pavel. then I realised that the Bellona gave more XP / Cash than the Pavel.. Is this a bug or a Problem?

Statistically the Pavel should be the harder ship, but realistically the Bellona is a bit more dangerous (imho) so this seems fair to me.

He probably doesn't realize the fact that BR determines rewards, being only a Flag Captain.

Could we have a fixed system of DPM, HP/Thickness and Turnrate (which would take into account ppl mods) to calculate the BR from rather than the arbitrarily decided BRs we have at the moment?

I would hope a removal of present BR's, to be replaced by something else based on ship data (speed, broadside weight, armor, plancking, turn rate and battle result)

once

If you mean just once, this will simply create a single meta to use forever. That's not as stable or cool as a dynamic system, which would provide an ever-changing meta.

...unless you mean you will update the system manually once, and then it will start balancing itself.
