When I ride 1 rate ship(and When I attacked me by enemy player), 'Reinforced Stern' upgrade is good???

(Sorry I english bad. I just 18c ship lover)

'Reinforced Stern' upgrade is good or bad?? Recommend or not recommend?

Personally, I use it on some of my 3rd, 2nd rate ships. Especially those slower ships that lose more crew than others. The difference is noticeable when you get raked. Of course a skilled player can work around, however, overall I recommend it for a ship with limited maneuverability.

It is one of the "good" upgrades in the arsenal. 

but:

- to expensive!

Why?: you should not be in the position to get raked in the first place, in the end, it will not help you ...

 it is more a psychological upgrade, its good for your confidence.

- if you look at the bow upgrade it will not be chosen by many  ...(to expensive vs the need for it)

if you need help with your stern, it's a good one...

more usable for the 4th and  3th rate ( and in some cases for the 2th and 1 th  rate - depends on the build you use)
