Bernard Sanders de Cuckold
I'm considering getting the game due to a friends recommendation. I've watched a few videos but I'm not entirely sold yet, my biggest concern so far is the rate at which development takes place. Is it considered decent enough to maintain interest over time? Taranis
The biggest single advice I would have to new players learning to play and wanting to level: load up on missions and get yourself an escort ship or two. This, then followed by: learn to shoot single canon at mid/long range and broadside at short range.

Duskguy
The guide is well done. I link this to every new player that asks what to do now that they bought the game.
PolishCornish
My question is how to save a loot. I took over a trader with contraband, send it to my port and then it turns up that I have no room for goods in my cutter. What went wrong and why? Inigo Balboa aka Ronda
My question is how to save a loot. I took over a trader with contraband, send it to my port and then it turns up that I have no room for goods in my cutter. What went wrong and why? That's how it works right now. To keep the goods you should take command of the trader you captured and send your own ship to the outpost. Just don't forget to drag loot to "hold".
