Tagging ai ships or alts or friend in another nation

So there IS a join able battle and its within invisibility range to a Pb. It must start within 90 minutes before a Pb. So why can't you smash the fleet in the battle they start to hide in.

Can't wait until we have officially implemented screening, multi battle PBs and defense/attack options.

This copy/paste 25v25 isn't cutting it.

Just as soon as leeway for a cag/fir Niagra at 80% sails sailing at 30 degrees wind is being calculated as perfectly as possible. Naval Action is the only game that does this, doncha know.

because you have to be within 2 min sail of it within 2 min of it starting to even have a chance, and it doesn't necessarily start 90 min before the PB, so then you are sitting waiting for up to 90 min doing nothing but sitting in OW staring in circles. The laws of probability and the limit of human interest in sitting idle are firmly against you.

Perhaps it is the game mechanic that is actually bad and needs changing. I know that is a novel concept in this game.

At least two other threads on this topic, the first has a video of the activity.

Many more threads and it'll be a rope.

Buster (cable making)

maybe if the entire 1st page of suggestions is spammed with nothing but these threads, the devs will see fit to do something?

The attacker IS investing that 90 minutes into hiding, you are not willing to spend the 90 minutes to watch for them. That's the problem. It's lazy gameplay on the defenders part you could stop the PB with superior numbers if you formed up earlier.

the attacker is hiding and going afk or playing an alt, it's not the same at all and if you can't grasp that, I can't help you.

If you have 40 guys afk in the port in question and 1 dude watching for the enemy fleet, your doing the same thing.

We're defenders, we earn the right to be safe inside the port. You as attackers don't have that luxury, using alts and exploiting battle instanced to bypass screening so you get your "fair 25v25" where you don't have to face the full defense because you're either lazy to bring your own screeners or stubborn to attack a less defended port.

BUT game mechanics around PBs aren't that strong so I don't blame anyone for using what they have to win.
