Yarev, apologies for the delayed response.

In your computer will be a log file.  I need you to please post an example so we can start troubleshooting.

The log file is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Naval Action\logs

The file is called custom_log.txt.

I need the following section (just one, not the entire log file):

I have the same problem. Connection queue request failed.

I have tried deleting the following lines and reinstalling the game. Neither of them worked.

Any other tricks to overcome this error?

Deleting sections from a log isn't going to fix the problem. What Henry was asking was for you to post your log.

To fix the issue, I would restart steam first, then if that doesn't work, restart your computer. If that doesn't work, then post the log Henry was asking for. Also make sure the server isn't down when you try.

Thanks Prater.   Payraz, I suggested to delete the entries similar to my log that have "Deleted" in them prior to posting the log.  This will protect potentially sensitive Steam account information from being posted on a public internet forum.  :)

We may be able to discern more information from the information contained in that section of the log.

In Yarev's case, this issue was caused by an "Internet Security" program, which was likely blocking ports and traffic that the game needed to run.  If you are having similar problems, please check any anti-virus or other security/firewall programs that you may have running to ensure that Steam and the Game are excepted from any rules that may block traffic.

You invited me to help you with the Naval Action [clean_openworld] beta

but since downloading Open World at the weekend, checking my Graphics Card and upgrading everything I can think of

still the same result;

"log on queue failure", constantly when the servers were up (I receive an email to say when they are down).

The steam password fails

and the members password I use to log on here fails constantly.

I have not even seen open world clean

As regards security blocking the program, why would any Steam program be blocked, most are online a few can be played offline but that platform and a lot of games would fall flat if software was that interventional.

I have lost the game I paid for in advance last year.

This is an Alpha Test, the game hasn't been released yet.  Open World is in a very early development stage and you can expect long outages.  Once the next feature set and fixes are released, the OW servers will be back up for further testing.

Once the game has reached a point where Game Labs is ready to enter Beta Test, I'm sure you'll see far longer up-times on the servers.  For now, they have been kind enough to leave the original Sea Trials build up for folks to get their sailing fix.  Keep an eye on the forums and they'll let you know when the next version of Open World is ready for testing and feedback.  Thanks for your patience!
