FPS drop

hey guys! I don't know if maybe it was my crappy a** lap top I use or what, but on the 2nd bull run as the union I had 45k troops left against 13k confederates on the 2nd day of the battle. The framerate was so dadgum slow that the game would skip every two seconds or so. I don't know if it was the game itself or if I had an antivirus scan going or what. Finally I managed to save the game and quit because I was getting so frustrated lol.

perhaps leaving your laptop plugged into power source will help?

I know when I'm running Naval Action without my laptop plugged into power source my frame rates plummet to 8 fps. when its plugged in, fps are 44 fps.
