thats one sexy little ship!

check out the flow of her bow. DAMM!! Thats sharp..

and the plan itselv is golden!

However I wonder what kind of stern she would have gotten.

I guess there are some templates for certain eara ships, right? (non?:P)

In 1760, a new style appears in France, the Neoclassical style : naval sculpture are much more sober than the previous Rococo ornaments one can see on the 1744 Renommée.

I don't have examples at hand. An interesting research...

Boudriot says that her design was very similar to Renommee, just a bit smaller. Side by side the body plans are almost identical.

When 13 years old and 'very hogged; she was reported to sail well on all points.

Here is an example of 1760's french Neoclassical stern, that of the Corvette La Perle (1768) contemporary to La Mignonne. The trend is towards simplicity :

So NA devs might quite "easily" implement two versions of La Mignonne, using the hull of NA Renommée (maybe reducing her scale a bit) and adding more modern naval sculpture than on La Renommée (like that, above, of La Perle) :

- a 1765 9-pdr frigate with 26 x 9-pdr + 4 x 4-pdr on the quarterdeck

- a 1793 razeed frigate with only 26 x 9-pdr
