well... actually i have a nice clan with some nice people, I enjoy my game and attack the ones I like to attack. Apart from those I cannot due to game-mechanics of course.... but thats about it... every time Im on nation chat I get bashed, but I guess thats the price of arguing against some of the big clans... I dont insult others but I can say for sure that its not like that the other way around. Personal attacks - like the one above - is pretty common... apart from that, I didnt let meself bow to group-pressure. I hope that more of you outthere do have an independant voice and dare to use it!

Simply refering to the way you hoist yourself on the cross as a self proclaimed messiah of the little man but then complaing on a never ending note of how its not fair your faction dont like you even as you actively work against them.

He on the other hand has the chance to be a man and stand on his conviction. I hope he does instead of comming here to proclaim his greatness like you thats all.

I commend you for sticking to your guns , and declaring your independence from an oppressive king but dont sully it for comming here and cryinf that you got exactly what you ask for or you will start to sound like fox2run lol.

I understand what you mean and this is exactly what I'm doing, but this morning I got harassed again.

 

Finally left the nation, because it became so toxic, it's not worth playing the game anymore and the other players achieved what they wanted, me out of the nation. I'm going to start a fresh in another nation and maybe I'll get something arranged in their nation councils or agree on some benefits.

 

When clans doesn't agree to the council demands or treaties, it doesn't give other players the right to harass the players who don't want to be part of the treaties set out by the council. If the council is a "channel" which look after it's nation, then the council must put sounding treaties on the table, not what other nations want or what the council themselves want.

 

Harassing players who don't want anything to do with the council is not fair.

Group-pressure. This is exactly what is happening. If you are not in the group, your an outcast and will be bullied. Verbally and emotionally bullied.

 

I don't know what other forum members have against you, but you speak from experience and understand exactly what I'm going through.

What happened with this game?

 

The devs has no control over any TS, hence a player can leave the TS be. I did that. But then we got the chatrooms which are also pretty toxic. 

 

Do the devs do anything to prevent the use of faulty language? (Not disagreements or common battle-swearing - PERSONAL ATTTACKS like "idiot", "moron", "stupid", "low IQ" etc...?

Regarding faulty language, report it when you see it. Language filters are very ineffective anyways, so why bother.

What happened with this game?

Nothing, folks are playing out their options. And the game isn't providing the right ones.

 

If he is a spy or an alt he is not cheating - he is a saboteur (if he is) and game does not give national officers tools to handle those people.

If you prove that he is an saboteur - i will transfer him to Britain or to pirates.

So what do you do when you are left without options, you troll.

Meanwhile I could only resort to my final option, troll.

I prefer IN-GAME mechanics above any home-made, private, council.

If the game-mechanics allow me to attack a ship, I should be able to do so WITHOUT any interference by other players. If the in-game-mechanics ables me to join a port battle I should be able to WITHOUT any kind of mongering by others.

If YOU make YOUR OWN, PRIVATE deals like "dont attack a french ship - becourse they are our friends" or "dont join this port battle becourse you have the wrong ship or are in the wrong clan" please do only this on YOUR OWN behalf. Dont complain when other customers (byers) play the game AS IS. OUT OF THE BOX!

You use methods and arguments that is HIGHLY doubtfull.

Play within the frame of the IN-GAME mechanics and - if you do not - let other players that do ALONE and DO NOT HARASS those.

Fransgelden - I cannot say its much different in Denmark-Norway - but I have founded this small, clan VGK which is a free haven for people not falling in the line of the big clans. Its called VGK and you should be more than welcome to join us. Its optional if you like to go to TS or not (Im not) :-)

That was in the pre-patch era. Now I can just hunt you down without any implications... When we get rid of them evil pirates, we the nations can begin to make war on eachother in a civilized way...
