Can a longer timer be readily modded?

More so with the new patch favoring greater care and conservation of troops and more careful tactics, I find the timer usually pressing a pace faster than feels historical to me.

 

Is there a way to slow the regular timer a little and the countdown timer somewhat more? 

 

Admittedly pausing often helps to keep troops moving more quickly on the clock, but my preference is to keep the timer running after initial orientation.

Only in a new update, which is considered to fine tune a few things left.
