Zooloo Posted August 15, 2016 Share Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Very early in a Renommees 1v1, i was very confident and after a few broadsides to the sails i tried to turn inside my opponent, bb3ar, to have a wind advantage and attempt to land some leaks.... But i got too close to the wind, he managed a perfect little push to place us both face to the wind and boarded me, he had it all planned I had zero marines versus a hundred approximately and he destroyed half my crew before i could disengage and run away. His move was beautifull, or i just payed my lack of experience idk, anyway, it was fun ! Oh snap, im late lol, sorry. I play PVE but im not really looking for any prizes, my worst fail was when I was fairly new to the game, it had just come out on steam EA. I was fighting a Pickle in a Snow, I had no idea what I was doing so had a fir snow as my fighting ship, it fired an opening broadside at my bow, 4 shots missed, one shot bounced off, the other went into my ship and instantly blew upFrom that day I have called Fir Snows fireworks.Sadly there is no video evidence or screenshots. After contacting Siegfried and agreeing on meeting at south-coast of Cuba at Brits ports, I managed to - sail out on a Privateer (had to return = warhship) - sail out on Traders Snow (had to return, no smuggler flag) - sail out on Traders Snow (had to return, forget the Grog) Finally, i made it to Puerto Escodindo starting from Mortimer, whereas he started from Cayman Brac.
