Sad part about the death of Spain is that they solely brought it upon themselves. I wouldn't even loan a Spaniard a pen at this point. In nice terms, their diplomatic skills need quite a bit of improvement.

The trio of clans I saw during the Spanish backstabbing were RAE, RACC and EI. They are to blame for this whole war.

 

The last straw was the exploited defence of Misteriosa, an already pissed off British nation got fed up of one thing after another.

 

During the Spanish-American war Britain had a lot of sympathy for Spain, a smaller faction being crushed and those players suffering for it. Now we don't have a shred of sympathy left, Spain is an impossible entity to trust, one that will opportunistically attack the moment we give a single day's respite.

Which fight? You mean the fight were one of your scouts spotted the big british attacking fleet and every spanish ship turned around to sail back to La Habana because your captains didn't want to loose their last big ship?

 

And oh excuse us for running from cuba. We are busy to crush backstabbing, exploiting traitors. You can play your game at La Habana while we are camping outside and sink every spanish ship which tries to move out. That's the way we deal with traitors. That's the way we deal with exploiters.

And that issue is that the british are always hungry for ports.....it seems they don't have all they need.

You clearly saw what happened with the americans, we wanted to take some ports in the south of Cuba because we really needed them, we asked that and proceed to do so.

What we got is the SLRN breaking our Alliance and defending those ports. If you were a real ally, that wouldn't happen.

And to me it was very sad, because we had a really good relation (or at least that's what we thought; yes we were naive)

That is untrue, sir. But whatever...

 

We just tried to do things as we thought that would be better for the nation, but at every point in the road someone put a stick into our wheels. That is why we just leave Spain to be able to keep fighting you as we have always done. That is what we find attractive in this game.
