Dear Devs, I have been playing Naval Action for a week now and have been struck by one deficiency which could be simply corrected. During in-game there have been numerous occasions that other players have replied to my chat messages and comments. However, if they are fighting during my comment and wish to respond to my comment later, it could be 30mins or more after then that they finally reply. Needless to say, the chat log will have moved on quite some distance by then and I have usually missed them. Likewise, I am not always aware if I receive a PM from someone. I thought, rather like Facebook and other such social medias, it might be an idea to have some kind of low lever audible alert whenever the player receives a PM or a response to their chat during play. This would have the benefit of players not having to constantly scan the chat logs for any replies when they would rather be gaming and scanning their respective ocean horizons. However, care should be taken to ensure that the audible alert is not too loud, high pitched or in any other way annoying to the player.

Hey there! Today I found out, the hard way, that when you leave battle without your fleet your fleet SINKS. I 'only' had a precious rattlesnake in my fleet after capturing a players trader and taking command of it, and the rattlesnake is my main and favorite ship, but if people have way bigger ships in their fleet this could be a problem. I strongly suggest there should be a warning before leaving the battle about your fleet getting destroyed if you don't wait for them. Or just remove the feature, letting the AI ships fight on (so the player can spectate)- Thanks, Lz

Dear Devs, I know its the second "suggestion" im posting here directly in quick succession. But I think it needs to be asked: Can you please give us a extra warning window when you dismiss the officer? I know you did that with the outpost and account delete. So if any one wants to dismiss his officer, he has to confirm by typing in the word: "dismiss" or something else. I know that a lot of players wanted to reset their stats and by mistake dismissed their officer. I count myself in that too. In my case I had to be fast cause I was late and accidentaly dismissed the officer. This happens but actually it shoudnt right? Kind regards, Twig

With the influx of new players (most of which will never read a pinned thread) I think it would be a good idea to add some earlier warnings of downtime. After all a battle can last upwards of 1½ hours - especially the small and large battles that people can just try to wait out by kiting the winning side. I suggest adding warnings going all the way up to 2 hours before scheduled downtime just to ensure people won't be violently thrown out of battles.
