Hey Devs, is it possible to change the visibility of the mission markers? Why i asking cause they sometimes really hard to find into the early morning fog, in stormy Weather etc. I was thinking of some glowing colored Mission Markers, a cool shiny Red for the standard Missions, and some darker red or Orange Markers for the Epic Events. Would be great if this can be done! Greetings from the Netherlands, Ahoi, Der Fliegende Hollaender!

I thought I'd throw this out there.... just to see if I am alone in this, way off the mark or actually onto something. I am talking about the visibility of the damage inflicted on the enemy, and other glues as to their seaworthiness and ability to fight. After watching numerous videos its quite apparent that the visual information on the enemy has a huge impact on the engagement and the tactics employed. I'll say it, I feel uncomfortable with the idea of having such accurate info on my enemy. Surely this brings into play an unrealistic mechanism that removes any element of risk or skill on the part of the Captain fighting the engagement, and his/hers ability to judge whether they are winning by visual clues and hard won experience.... By removing the enemy damage indicator, the Captain would have to rely on his assessment of the enemy ship, its speed, its maneuverability and its visual damage. Whether also its Broadside weight and gunnery is lacking due to damage inflicted. I also note in one engagement that the Captain of 1 ship knew how many repair counts the enemy ship had left and had used!!!! It may be too hardcore but should the damage inflicted be more vague? Your valued thoughts and opinions Gentlemen?

Situation: So we have an hour to play a PVE match, Its stormy weather, half your squadron chases ai ships 1 way, the other half the opposite direction. After 30 minutes you find you are the only ship left and the remaining ai ships were with the group who went the other way. You sail back on roughly an opposing course to 10 minutes but fail to see enemy ships. Can we have an option to either finish match earlier if we are out of visual range for say 10 minutes of last enemy ships, perhaps stating whether the 'withdrawel' would be a loss, win or draw depending on current score. Or possibly a trigger once every 5 minutes or so where you can force an ai ship to set off a signal rocket (Yes these were used historically) so that we can see a flickering light on a horizon for say 15 seconds which will give us a rough heading toward them. i know I state PVE in the topic title but this could also be a voluntary action by pvp captains in the same situations.
