The larger transport ship, the class that can be armed and has 4 land unit slots, has far too low capacity, even less than the medium transport with 3 land unit slots and no armament option. The unmodified (by hammocks etc.) capacity is 1000 tons, this should be at least 1600, more likely 2000. It also has only one upgrade slot, unlike the aforementioned medium transport, which has three. Her it also needs at least two upgrade slots, more likely 4.
(Its just a thought and not a statement) I saw this game a while back and thought lets take a look. First off I am astonished, because this game is perfect. A month ago i started getting into ship building on other games/programs, and then I discovered this game. I love it and I thought "Well if it has surface ships why not submersibles?". I think a few types of submersibles may add some "depth" to the vessel types. Then I remembered the first carriers made from converted cargo ships and cruisers. If they are just re-purposed cruisers/transports, why cant they be in game. (This may sound rude, let me rephrase.) Somewhere down the line add some carrier parts/components/aircraft etc. I know it seems far fetched since there are no Anti-Aircraft armaments in game to begin with, but again its just a thought. TL:DR Id like to see subs in game in the future along with carriers (And maybe some transports ) (HMS Furious Circa 1918) Thanks: TheBlueBaron
Hello everyone I would like to start the topic on the toughness of transports. For anyone that tried to make a raiding ship that you would most likely build in the campaign would most likely run into issues. That is that if your raiders armed with anything less than 5" they won't deal effective damage to transports and even if you do the transports take alot of ordinance before they actually start sinking. This might just be a similar issues with torpedo boats that refuse to die by secondary fire because of the abundance of bulkheads that tank plenty of shells because the damage bulkheads are absorbing shots for the undamaged bulkheads. Since In campaign we might spend a good amount of time raiding convoys with CLs I recommend that transports damage control ability be drastically turned down. Because right now now they can tank salvo of 11" HE fire and is able to contain the damage in seconds. with the dam con turned down ships would have easier time sinking them
