Британская Ост-Индская компания претерпела значительные реформы и отныне именуется Британской торговой компанией. Сменилось не только название, но и структура компании, также была перестроена ее Штаб-квартира. В компании существует разделение на военный флот, оснащению которого уделяется большое внимание, и естественно - торговый флот. Капитан, поступая на службу в компанию, изначально принимает решение, к какой эскадре примкнуть: будет ли он нарушать вражескую и защищать союзную торговлю крейсерством на фрегате, принимать участие в масштабных битвах на линейном корабле, уделять должное внимание к снаряжению корабля, подготовке и муштре экипажа, или же будет заниматься исследованиями, или производством, торговлей и перевозкой ресурсов и грузов, необходимых для безбедного существования и процветания компании и Британской империи. Компания заинтересована в капитанах ценящих порядок и организованность, также мы будем рады видеть в своих рядах почитателей парусного дела Нового времени, людей, интересующихся историей, и конечно же, морских волков, которые с легкостью могут отличить путенс-ванты от вант-путенсов. History: The Dutch West India Company was a chartered company (known as the "West-Indische Compagnie" in Dutch or just the simple abbreviation "WIC") of Dutch Merchants. Among its founding fathers was Willem Usselincx. On June 3, 1621 the company was granted a charter for a trade monopoly in the West Indies by the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands and given jurisdiction over the Atlantic Slave Trade, Brazil, the Caribbean, and North America. The area where the company could operate consisted of West Africa and the Americas, which included the Pacific Ocean and the eastern part of New Guinea. The intended purpose of the charter was to eliminate competition, particularly the Spanish and Portuguese, between the various trading ports established by the merchants. The company became instrumental in the Dutch Colonization of the Americas. The Trading Company: We accept anyone! Dutch or not the main language that will be spoken is English.
