I just teleported out of fort royal. My name is Lars Kjaer and I'm sailing for DK/NG so as you can imagine the frenchies weren't particularly friendly. I was tagged outside fort royal and for some reason couldn't enter port again? Luckily he retagged me so I got to Christianssted and thought it was all fair and good. Now I sailed to Pasaje from CS on a traders brig with a traders brig in fleet and for some reason it gave me a battle report with no rewards upon entering Pasaje and both my traderbrigs are gone. Now one was a borrowed one mind you so I'm feeling in a bit of a pickle (not the ship ). EDIT: fat fingers so I elaborate a sentence..
Can we all PLEASE agree to change after battle teleporting to PVP battles ONLY that last at least 20 minutes. Trader Tears here please. This mechanic is abused to the point of breaking the Open World concept. So much so that sailing a LGV in enemy waters is safer than in friendly....let that sink in for a second.............Now think about how many ships you chased for 10 minutes only to watch them tag a trader cutter just before u can tag them and watch them magically dissappear to a freeport 20 minutes away. Anyone posting on this thread blasting me for even mentioning this change GET OUT OF YOUR TRADE SHIP and enjoy some pvp because if you dont all the trading you do to build all those shinny ships wont be needed because no-one will need any ships as fast as they are being built atm since 95% of the time no-one is in any real danger of losing thier ship unless they try to.
Hello; i would like to propose something that i'm pretty sure will improve gameplay and i would like to know if someone else agrees with me. These are the things i would change: 1 Old resources prices (before patch 9.7) 2 Cancel the ability to Teleport your ship with a cargo In this way, getting a good price for a resource will be much more dangerous, realistic ( and fun), probably players will group much more to form trading convoys to defend from ganking. I think all the trading thing and the game itself will benefit of this. Let me know what you think about it and feel free to add every idea that you have on this topic.
