  1. The prettiest ship you would ever see. The Pickle on steriods. Smooth lines, unique sail plan, sharp bite. This is the ultimate privateer ship. The Victory might be a sledgehammer, the Constitution a Bowie Knife, this here is a surgeon's scalpel. Yes, it lost in the player selected ship poll for 2015, but this would be a very good addition to the game. It carries a hermaphrodite rig similar (yet very different from) the Pickle and is heavily armed (18 guns) and manned (130 crew). It is extremely fast. At the least make it a premium ship if you don't want it to be a regular ship. I and others would pay good RL money for her. http://www.1812privateers.org/United%20States/PRINCE/princeINDEX.html
  2. La Topaze This is la Topaze of the shooner class l'Anémone by Delamorinière. In 1823: At Cherbourg = La Topaze and l'Emeraude At Bayonne = la Rose and l'Anémone At Toulon = La Jacjnthe and la Jonquille

  6. Just small topic. Why Privateer have open cannon windows on stern? If there are no cannons there at all? It is pretty silly to open "windows" in the battle. It's pretty silly to open them anytime without any cannons at all. Or maybe they are a toilet windows, then it's ok for me.
  7. Just thought I would share this with you, she wasn't a big powerfull 74 gun ship of the line, nore was she as well armored as the USS Constitution. The Liverpool Packet was a converted scooner that prooved to be a real thorn in the side for New England, capturing 50 vessels durring the war of 1812, dispite herself being captured by the Americans, durring the war, she was recaptured by the Brits and rebought by her original owners. She sailed out of my home town Liverpool NS, just a part of the game that I am looking forward too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_Packet And a read on her Captian http://www.thestar.com/news/insight/2012/09/28/joseph_barss_the_greatest_of_the_nova_scotia_privateers.html Hope you enjoy. Cheers ZCR19.
  8. Will you be adding schooners of 2 mast or more? they were quite common at the time for piracy, merching, and privateering plus they were added to navy fleets. heres a few pictures if i get a response ill begin posting the plans and ships ive researched, theirs many during the time period we have.
  9. This was how my first match in the Lynx went, Gusty and Dread seemed amused at least! Though, it goes to show, you're not dead until you sink. Also, for new sailors, watch that blue line go up the ship, had I known that was.....
  10. Hi guys Need drawings or pics of Lynx Privateer original deck plan or at least some references that look like it.. the deck we made looks beautiful but a bit too modern.
