We try to shine amongst other clans by our gentleman-style rules, respect to others, ranking system, wikipedia, out of game rewards, achievements, cooperative actions, training and much more! We only require you to cooperate with our naming policy on our forums, where all the small roleplay and management of the Squadron takes place. The ‘St George’ Squadron of the White is a society dedicated to Captains of His Britannic Majesty’s Royal Navy. Squadron is already 15 Years old and still going. The oldest members still playing have been in the squadron almost long as the Society has existed. We are naval enthusiasts, gamers, keen role-players and above all passionate patriots. We will in-game play our parts with good natured professionalism, ruthlessness and chivalry. All qualities that we admire in people who may wish to join this growing Squadron. Our squadron is built on the principles and traditions of the Royal Navy. Our inspiration is of Britain's long naval history, great naval heroes and the doctrine in which they lead their men and fought their battles. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and reputation. Every member of our Squadron from Gentlemen to Sea Lords are important to the success of our Squadron, and each are imbued with a sense of belonging to a “Band of Brothers” in the great tradition of Nelsonic philosophy. Our team spirit is highly relished, and any member who has joined so far will tell you that the friendships they have gained by joining will no doubt be friendships for life. We are a diverse group, of many nationalities, cultures and ages…..but as a society we are one, and that togetherness will be our success. The Squadron was founded in February 2004 by 6 original members who met of the forums for the game Pirates of the Burning Sea. From the start they decided to build a small guild of friends rather than a large super guild. It was decided to base the Squadron on the sprit of the Nelson era as this was a time of courage, honor and allowed captains a level of initiative not seen in the rigid battle lines of the earlier period. We have no outlined focus in terms of crafting, PvE or PvP - we appreciate and support all of it. Most of our members origin from the same named clan on a different game featuring action on the seas, first being only two of us who rejoined Naval Action, the enthusiasm for the game spread quickly and we got ten people buying the game by entertaining them in long and hilarious evenings. We are trying to build up our PvP expirience now and to form a joined Portbattle team with other clans, though neither participation is mandatory. Hello Everyone, My name is Crayon. I'm mainly a trader for the USA, and in the course of the past few days, locating resources such as live oak, has become near impossible. The reliance on free towns for international trade purposes is becoming increasingly unreliable with the ever changing boundaries, which sparks this discussion. As the pirates expand north, the east boundaries of the Bahamas is becoming more and more passable every day. I propose that we traders create a center for trade for the sake of profit and progression, in the Neutral capital of Pitts Town. I propose this as the center for trade for these reasons: 1) Central Location: To all nations, this town has about the same travel time. 2) All nations can dock here: No one is excluded from making use of the port. 3) Access to Free town deliveries: Atwood, though dominated by pirates, is very close, allowing access to deliveries. With the war well underway, we traders need to band together in the name of profit and progression to secure fair and equal trade between our nations. Thanks, and have a good day! Crayon

What is the one thing that can unite all nations? I'll tell you what it its !! Its Gold!!! My self and a Spanish player Potemkin were talking about getting a international trade conference started/ going . Maybe we could get a group of players to agree on a free town where a large amount of international trading would go on to help stabilize the in game economy. So I thought id toss up a thread and see if we can get some ideas flying. I was thinking of a centralized location like la tortue But my opinion of this port is biased. maybe something like la mona would work better. but its always up for discussion. But think of it a port where tons of people could come and make money and trade. A place where anyone could go and buy and sell goods. It could be a international place where anyone could by a gold ship for a good price. it would be a place to promote crafting and ship building.- 6 replies
