I added more choices because some seem to be taking this poll as an opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with combat medals in particular. I'm with you. I don't like combat medals. In fact, I think we have too many currencies in game. But I created the poll assuming the devs were going to keep a combat medal system. So.... I don't like it when players farm their alts either. However, to me, those players are more or less wasting their time. I don't view them as farmers, but as targets. Go ahead, obtain ships, mods, and rank. You're still not going to be much of a challenge if you took that short cut. It's sort of the same way I view if we were allowed to bring rank across from the PVE server. Who cares? In the past there has been too much worry and restrictions placed because of what a few idiots are doing to the detriment of the rest of the population that just wants to play the game. @admin Please reconsider:

First off i'm not telling you to vote or how to vote as this is completely voluntary. I am only wishing to act as an advocate to the game in hopes to see our game population increase. Steam is hosting their annual "The Steam Awards" to be decided this December and there are multiple game categories. http://store.steampowered.com/SteamAwardNominations/ I felt that this is a way that we, the Naval Action community could drum up some support to a game we all enjoy. Visit a game’s store page to nominate it for an award. The “Test of Time” Award This award is for the game that is just as good today as the day you first played it. Newer games may come out, but it doesn’t matter… you’ll always come back to play this one. But sometimes games become more than that, and touch you in a way you weren’t expecting. This award celebrates the game that blindsided you emotionally. You weren’t expecting to cry. You need to get some sleep, so you’re just going finish one more thing before you decide to tuck in for the night. Just one more. Wait, one more. What’s that you say? It’s 2:30 AM? However this game used a farm animal in the best way possible. And so we turn to the Steam Awards Selection Committee to come up with their own category and nominee. Senior members of the Selection Committee will review the write-in entries and create an entirely new category based on the feedback provided. Just a thought; what about badges or awards in steam for accomplishing certain challenges like, 10% of map discovered, 25% map discovered, etc; completing 10 battles won, 20 battles, 100 battles, etc; crafting level 20, 30, 40, and Gold badge for 50. Maybe this could be implemented by the characters name or title. Master Crafter Level-50. Contact badge, visited 2,3.4 other nation towns. Distance award for shipping or travelling distances. I could go on but these award/badges are cool and are implemented in other Steam/valve games.
