'Prince Frederick' The Prince Frederick was launched in 1714 as the 'Expedition'. The following year she was re-named in honor of King George I's eight-year-old grandson, Frederick. More facts. 'Expedition' was rebuilt as a 70-gun third rate in 1699 at Chatham Dockyard. She was rebuilt for a second time as a 70-gun third rate to the 1706 Establishment at Portsmouth Dockyard, and was relaunched on 16 August 1714. She was renamed HMS Prince Frederick in 1715. Her final rebuild was carried out at Deptford, where she was reconstructed as a 70-gun third rate to the 1733 proposals of

OK so I am going to attempt to start modeling this ship, I won't lie I don't know much about naval history or much about the ship itself, I have some HD plans and Ragnar hairy trousers to help me with his knowledge of ships of this time and will try my best to make a model to this games high standards. I was wondering if anyone had or knows of reference pictures of this ship, there is a model that has had loads of pictures uploaded to Google, but it seems to be the 1790 model and not the one I have plans for, again I am a naval history noob, if there is any websites that have pictures of load

The HMS Beagle was a Cherokee-Class 10-gun brig-sloop that served with the Royal Navy. The Beagle was later adapted as a survey barque and conducted three expeditions. Her second expedition made her one of the most famous ships in history as she carried a young Charles Darwin, who later penned the Origin of Species. I think she would make a great ship for use of explorers to survey coastlines, and send expeditions to unknown lands. Brief History The Octavius was a British merchant vessel that was trading with China in the late 1700′s. According to the story of The Octavius, the ship arrived safely in China, but then the ship’s captain chose to gamble with fate: he decided to attempt a return to England using the Northwest Passage (through the Arctic), which had never been attempted before. Here’s where it gets interesting: the ship wasn't discovered until 13 years later off the coast of Greenland when a whaling ship spotted her. When the crew boarded the new-found ship, they discovered the bodies of all crew members fro

Replik der Endeavour, 1994 HMS Endeavour, also known as HM Bark Endeavour, was a British Royal Navy research vessel that Lieutenant James Cook commanded on his first voyage of discovery, to Australia and New Zealand, from 1769 to 1771. Not sure if it has been suggested yet, however; my all time favorite ship due to it's incredible design, the HMS Prince. I would absolutely LOVE to see this ship in game in the near future if possible. I noticed it was not on the list for voting so consider this my active polling vote. I've attached some photo's to better show the design! Please let me know what you think. Bow: Aft: Design: Overall: EDIT- Wiki page as well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Prince_%281670%29

"While Wellesley was ordered as a Black Prince-class ship of the line, plans meant for her construction were lost in December 1812 when USS Constitution captured HMS Java. She was therefore built to the lines of HMS Cornwallis, a Vengeur-classship of the line which had just been launched at Bombay " Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Wellesley_(1815) Black Prince class plans. HMS Ormonde HMS Ormonde was a 50-gun fourth rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, built at Woolwich Dockyard to the 1706 Establishment of dimensions, and launched on 18 October 1711.[1] In September 1715, she was renamed Dragon. Launched in 1719 at Portmouth. In 1782 Royal William took part in the navy operations which led to Gibraltar’s liberation. Also in that same year, the ship was involved in the salvage attempt of Royal George, which overturned in Spithead causing the death of 900 persons. In the end it was assigned as anchor-watch at Portsmouth, until 1813 , then demolished. Its survival for almost a century compares strongly with the typical six-year life span of so many other ships. Armament : First battery: 34 guns of 32 inches Second battery: 28 guns of 24 inches Third battery: 18 guns

Im very intrested in those 74s and the reason is that they have so much more soul in my mind than the 1st rates and the Bellerophon is the finest British ship out there but i know the ship list is long but i have made a long list about to get more french or get the Téméraire-class ship of the line because she is the type of my favorite ship the Redoutable and the Bellerophon catches my eye just as the Redoutable does and if there is a ship that i think is as worthy as the Téméraire to come to the game it must be this i know there already is Bellona but this could be another British alternative
