  6. Ladies and Gentlemen, We hereby announce the first British Council meeting. This is a joint effort between AUSEZ and RGL. The British Nation needs a global strategy. 7. HI all, Does anyone have or has seen any blueprints, plans, references, or best yet ship models online of the Boyne Class HMS PRINCE OF WALES? There were only two in the class. She was built in 1794 and was a 98 gun 2nd rate.

  9. At an undisclosed location in the Caribbean at 7:00 pm central standard time February 1st, 2016; a large fleet of British ships approached a free-city within which the pirate "Black Flag Coalition" had made their base. The Black Flag Coalition was made of two partner guilds; The Forsaken Corsairs and The Jolly Rogers, who had been growing in strength through recruitment and piracy of local ships. However the piracy of British merchants and other vessels had prompted the British to send a fleet of 15 ships; comprised of several Niagaras, Snows and other assorted vessels to drive the Coalition f
  10. HMS Revenge (3rd Rate 74) Large 74 guns 3rd rate with 30x 24p guns instead of usual 18p on upper gun deck was finished in 1805 and participated in Trafalgar Battle in the second column of C.Collingwood. After firing at two third rates HMS Revenge got under fire from 4 other 3rd rates and 1st rate Principe-de-Asturias suffering from heavy casualties and partially dismasted but still able to return fire until being supported by HMS Dreadnought and HMS Thunderer. It was the only ship built to her draught and is considered to be one of the first ships of Royal Navy painted with the Ne

  12. Hello, I would like to ask the devs to consider a one off ship to be added to the game as a tribute to a ship lost at sea more than 264 years ago, and discovered in 2008 by the Odyssey Explorer. I would like to see her in game as a tribute to those lost at sea while serving on one of the greatest ships in the British navy. As a game based on the era of the Age of sail I think adding her would bring joy to many players. Here are the plans I could find so far: Her Stern: Her Bow: Please consider her for the game, as she will make a great ad
  13. Part of the 11-ship Niger/Alarm-class, designed by Sir Thomas Slade, Great Britain´s most important naval architect in the Age of Sail (and No.1 in my personal 'all-star' team of shipwrights, with Sané, Blaise Pangallo, Blaise Ollivier and af Chapman ). The Pearl, like most of her sisters, was a higly successful cruiser, with a couple of notable single-ship actions (e.g. Santa Monica, L'Espérance). Arguably Slade´s best frigate design, she was capable of 13 1/2 knots with the wind abaft the beam and 10 to 11 knots close-hauled. Very weatherly, highly manoeuvrable and could carry her sail
  14. Is anyone working on HMS Triton(1796) for inclusion in NA? Quite a novel looking ship, 32 gun, 18lb frigate. Fir built. Would seem to me to be an excellent candidate for inclusion.

  16. HMS Sophie (real-life HMS Speedy) Jack Aubrey's first command, described in Master and Commander is the brig-rigged "sloop" HMS Sophie, operating out of Port Mahon in the western Mediterranean. Towards the end of the novel, the first book in the series, Sophie is captured on the Spanish coast by a French squadron led by Admiral Linois. Although the activities of the Sophie and her dimensions and armament were modeled closely on those of real-life HMS Speedy, commanded by Thomas, Lord Cochrane, the quarterdeck - unusual for a small sloop - was taken from HMS Vincejo, captured from t
  17. Im not sure if the Devs are still taking suggestions for new ships to be modeled before the release of the game, but a ship of the line a little later in period with different looking stern works, slightly different rig and more spartan bow features would give the game a sense of how ship construction evolved quickly from the 1700's to the 1820's. HMS Ganges was an 84 gun 2nd rate ship of the line, built of teak in the Royal Navies Bombay shipyard in 1821, she has a couple very notable differences in comparison with ships designed in the 1750s like Victory. Instead of main and mizzen sta

  19. HMS Caesar was an 80-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 16 November 1793 at Plymouth. She was designed by Sir Edward Hunt, and was the only ship built to her draught. She was also one of only two British-built 80-gun ships of the period, the other being HMS Foudroyant (1798). Battle of Algeciras Bay She was involved in the Battle of Algeciras Bay in 1801, during which her Master, William Grave, was killed and buried in Trafalgar Cemetery in Gibraltar. 20. I really like to see the HMS Minerva in this game. That was always the ship that I liked. It would be great to see him in this game. Wiki: HMS Minerva HMS Minerva was a 38-gun fifth-rate Royal Navy frigate. The first of four Minerva-class frigates, she was launched on 3 June 1780, and commissioned soon thereafter. In 1798 she was renamed Pallas and employed as a troopship. She was broken up in 1803. Details Model Ship Plan Head plan of the 'Minerva' Deck, quarter & forecastle of 'Minerva'
  21. 'Adventure' 1646-1684 44-Guns Adventure was a 34-gun fourth-rate frigate of the English Royal Navy, built by Peter Pett II at Woolwich and launched in 1646. The term 'frigate' during the period of this ship referred to a method of construction, rather than a role which did not develop until the following century. By 1677 her armament had been increased to 40 guns. Adventure was rebuilt as a 44-gun fourth rate at Chatham Dockyard in 1691. She was captured by the French off Martinique, in the West Indies on 1 March 1709. Rare blueprints!!! Get them while they last!!! We ba
  22. I think that this would be a nice addition as a British Capital ship. Based on the draught of the Royal George she has a certain splendor to her. Also she had 18s rather than 12s on her upper gun deck. If someone had plans or the capacity to model her I think that she would fit in well. I refer to the 1790 Queen Charlotte (Glorious First of June) as opposed to the 1810 ship of the same name. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRcncJ8-xCmL4TSmjY2EomDPBx5VgC_e7_itrpI8ce81sMjAfwO https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTv8hFxu5aW9Gv7ln7wxwx_vKydBDvqDs80gMda3FEt
