  1. Have you looked at the option of a timer or pop-up for the prizes? Say I do a certain percentage of damage to a ship (meaning I did all the grape-ing), and then someone rolls into the instance to steal the prize, having done no damage or a very small amount They wouldn't be able to capture it unless you click on the ship and 'release' it, or have a timer say 10 minutes, after the timer is up the ship is unlocked for anyone to capture I believe there are similar systems in place for MMO's, where if you get the 'kill' the corpse is yours for a certain period of time, to prevent loot ganking
  2. To be honest, they should get rid of 'sides' in battle all together. To know who is enemy and who is friendly, look at the flags on the ships. (And keep the name tags) All these things are already implemented in the game play, all they have to do is remove the limitations and restrictions If there is friendly fire due to rash decisions and people not ensuring their target, well that just means we will have more pirates
  3. Added a bunch of Pirate ports, Matthew Town, Atwood Cay. etc
  4. Had a problem with the chat last night, my internet died while I was in the middle of a battle. A few minutes later it came back so I logged in, all good back in the fight. However my chat stopped working alltogether, it showed the log of the messages sent previously. But whenever I typed anything it didn't send, and I couldn't see any new messages Also switching channels (Pirate, Global, Help) it just was stuck showing the messages from Battle still Restarted the game again and it was still wonky, but came back after awhile
  5. I came across Watling while trying to find my way to Atwood Cay. Maybe someone can confirm, but it is either on the SE tip of San Salvador Island, or Port Nelson 23.940 -74.480 Degrees is San Salvador Island, which is the most likely place, as I was sailing NE from Mayaguana passage Also thanks for this Quartermaster, makes things a LOT easier when navigating in-game. See you soon so we can get my Surprise back
  6. Trust me I tried everything, spent a good 2 minutes pushing every key on the board, alt-tabbing out and back in, etc etc It was bad because I was at ramming speed headed straight for land, I would have loved to have stopped PS: Where in ONT are you ?
  7. I've reported it a few times via F11, but I'll put it here as well Noticed total loss of keyboard control via ship occasionally, and once or twice I've lost my mouse control completely. 1st time I was sailing in the OW, and noticed the ship wasn't responding to any input, but I could still type in the chat box fine. I ended up force closing the game and it was fixed. 2nd time was in a battle, I lost the HUD and again keyboard control was lost. I pressed F11 to report it and that brought the HUD back, along with control. 3rd time was loss of the mouse from the screen completely, it was in the after action report from a battle, and I was trying desperately to click on my loot I ended up having to force close the game as no amount of trying would bring the mouse back
