  2. In western world politicians do stay in the light but they are more of a proxies. Real work is done by civic servants who are not connected with any politican and they do not change with goverments. They are true specialists and they stay in the shadows. Not to mention lobbying system of USA that makes big capital the real deciders in politics.
  3. Free speech is public right not a private one. When on your own private land you can be as non pc as you want. It isnt about free speech though, It is about costumer relations , this is where devs got problem. No one can change their behaviour but them. The ones who will be losing finansicly on it is them though. And i doubt if fighting negative reviews will help you, internet is waaaay to big to censorship it.
  4. That family sounds a lot like a cult, If you are proffesional you take in all feedback. It is literally your job. You should not try to act as in siege mentality as if there is "right" and "wrong" side ..
  5. How can you give correct testers feedback without math in patch and basic testers tools? We used to have damage dealt reports, we dont have them anymore. We used to have controllable enviorament of lobbies, we dont have it anymore. How can you test and give factual feedback? Other than saying that you like/dislike current changes. Bcs that is what you get here, not actuall feedback that could help anyone.
  6. The thing is devs are not working fueled by their enthusiasm. THey are working being fueled by $$$ from sales. Just po point out facts NA sold on steam 100-200 thousands copies , so just do the math. Considering it;s a small indie studio with few devs it isnt that bad of a profit. Good enough to start acting as professionals. I kind of get ppl defending devs as if they were snowflakes who cant get any bad input or they will jsut go away and we cant have that to our beloved project Sweet talking other side in professional relationship wont end well.. THE TRUTH IS IT IS DEVS WHO SHOULD TRY TO GET COSTUMERS APPRECIATION NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
  7. Do you remember times of free 3rd rates sailing in ow just waiting to be capped? And how good pvp with OTHER ships was bcs there was that free alternative, so you could do more risky fights freely? Yeah i do. It was taken from all players, now only avaiable to players that pay extra. NOT FAIR AT ALL.
  8. Considering NA isnt f2p and it is devs that are responsible for the fact crafting and trading are repulsive i dont think that is so much better. Monetization on games flaws, that could be fixed if they only wanted to.
  9. #1You can do every single activity in world of warcraft as solo player. Since Wotlk you got pug groups able to raid. You might be under the impression of crude vanilla wow. And i played WOW through vanilla up to it;s fall from grace. And besides of nolifing to be #1 on server killing raids wow was casual as it gets. You dont need to be part of any guilds to RAID top gear locations. #2 You missed the point of "i am not getting drowned" argument. It's point is to show off you can;t use real life examples (like you using Nelson crafting his own ship). It is worthless and silly. I never said i would like ot get top loot for free, nor did i say there shouldnt be guilds. What i can say is "ship DLC;s with this remaining playerbase in NA seems to me like a bar owner making AA meetings and selling those suckers few drinks after. Bcs addicts will be addicts." I do not see it as moral not to help them(fix damn game that forces ppl out of pvp) , but instead sell them short time remedy (free ships that fixes gear fear issues).
  10. IT IS A VIDEO GAME. Why am i not getting drowned each time i get ganked in NA? Let's be consistent. Or dont. Just release the game from Early access and than create more dlc's. Unless you dont care about backlash.
  11. Dont be too harsh here. I will defend NA legends. Just imagine it with decent matchmaking and lobby system. Take out those dumb bots that were always spawning , no matter if you wanted them or not and we might get a good arena game. Bcs w/e devs gave us to test was disapointing at least.
  12. I've read a lot of comments and most of focus seems to be on the performance of DLC ships or how often they will be used in RvR. Those are valid fears, but tbh none of them is disturbing me too much. The issue i see with those dlc's is access. You pay to be able to get free ship each day, and it;s main reason is fighting gear fear. Fear of losing your ship, emptying your stocks and being forced into stocking up period/the grind oh the grind/ is what is responsible for cancer of players behaviour on the OW. The ganking, the underhanded tactics all caused by fear of possibility of loss. I've been playing and than spectating NA for a long time and this was single most importent issue he devs had to tackle to create working mmo ow game. But instead of working on this issue they decided to monetize on it. This is why i have issues with DLC ships. Now there is no way devs will even atampt to fix situation that is responsible for dlc sales. We even had admition by admin that ppl buy those ships for access so we will have 4th rate aviable daily to those that wants to pay more. I would have no isssue if NA was a free game with added monetization, than i would have no issues that basic product is broken and you are fixing it by dlc's. But we payed for NA , hence i want my basic product that i already payed for enjoyable and working. Without need to buy extra dlc's. TLDR DLC ships are used as second/third chance ships not as premium pvp ships.
  13. Those legendary Chineese legions are going to help NA? NA has used it's users and i highly doubt you will have a visible increase in player numbers. To actually get 1k back again NA would have to go free to play.
  14. But doesnt that mean that dlc ships were used by 30% of w/e is left of players population not to actually play 2/3 rds of your game? That is a point of dlc ship, get one ship per day,without any grinding. The fact almost 1/3 of players left here would rather p[ay than play the game normaly. Doesnt that tell you something negative about the base game? I would not be in such a positive mood bcs of that statistic. Unless income generated by those dlc is more importante than a healthy pvp. Why cant british players buy a good cerberus? Bcs you would have to got higher proportion of brain dead slugs willing to do crafting for living in NA. Ppl wanted easier access to ships, and you used it go get more income. Well played.

I see two point of potential rage, outcry and anger. #1 Players might see it as shortening the avaiable ship roster while increasing the size of dlc ones. #2 they might be just pissed about the fact that by buying dlc ship you avoid hauling and crafting. And allowing them to pop those ships one daily is crushing both eco and any possibility to ballance rvr and pvp awards. So some players might see it as breaking the game just to allow players pay for dlc "fix" .
  16. Wargaming is free to play. They received money for their work. Naval Action wasn't free. Oddly enough, Banished's post was well constructed and anything but childlike. Childlike behavior would be akin to your meltdown about 9lb cannons yesterday. Now when you cant blow off this comment just bcs of join date i would love to hear your answer on monetization of early access game. THANK YOU
  17. I've seen success of League of Legends and i;ve seen numbers on Na playerbase at start. And that was fanatical playerbase. If those cosmetics were sold inside game shop it would be enough to keep NA afloat wihtout any p2w addons. But we went 180 degree other way...

I can assure you that if devs decided to go only with costumables, paints,flags,titles and such types of premiums/dlc's i would buy as many as i could, bcs that would mean i apreciate the devs. Paying for dlc ships in early access game is ... let me say it isnt what i was signing in. Why am i suppose to pay for access to ship pay day? shouldnt gaem provide me with it wihtout going through mind numbing grind? When devs adds game mechanics just to make dlc ships an easier option. That is immoral imo. But that is mine point.
  19. Whining for whining case is one. But it isnt that hard to notice that ship supply is getting smaller while dlc ships numbers keep increasing. How much more devs needs to push players to pay for those dlc's and than be able to keep having fun in the broken eco. I just would preffer if the gaem was fixed instead of devs profitering from it's broken state. And players agreeing to it by buying those dlc's. Arent we smarter than this?
  20. Are those servers running on diamonds and gold? So they were able to eat up from the EA income? Bcs 2 man indie team (as you keep on remainding us) should not eat that much up that you need additional dlc (and the worst kind of dlc< the ones that hurt the ones that didnt buy them) to pay server bills? It is tricky thing when you start talking about financial details...

  22. If altsa re an issue (and i know they are) deal with them. Unless $$ from killing your own game by alt users and dlc buyers is too much to try making your game playable.
  23. Naval Action was always more of complicated unclear and confusing rather than hard for most new players. Everyone starting will be thinking what am i doing after seeing 1st ui, "training" isnt much help in learning most ow game concepts. And learning by getting anihillated by seasoned players isnt very fun. The thing is after like 10 hours there arent any more hard things in the game, rather than that you find out a lot of annoing mechanics, and that grind for a grind. So most likely even if you would be able to amke NA more comfortable for new players how many of them will stay? Bcs judging from statistics we had up till this point player pop is staying stable and it's just ppl who would play na w/e it would look like bcs there are no competition to it on games market.
  24. You do not rebalance once and end it, you are stuck ballancing every few weeks, bcs as soon as you nerfed something op players will find next strongest thing after it and abuse that. That is why rebalancing is a constant proces , that ends at the momnent the game popularity dies. That is how they do it in other multiplayer games.
  25. There were plans of creating naval force that would be Polish rather than using what Danzing had or privateer ships. They were never acepted by parliment bcs it would mean strongering kings power and that was a big no no. + most important expansion or defence fronts were inland so why even bother building fleet if you could fight sweeds on land too.
