I see another one of these threads has appeared Since AI fleets where first introduced way back when. I said only trader ships should be included in your fleet. In all honesty AI fleets are really only used for less skilled players to 1. feel safe but not really have any protection or 2. abused to gank and inflate numbers in PVP engagements. The same old story about new or solo players needing protection i think is rather worn out especially with the new noob zones coming into effect. So one last time please remove AI warship fleets and replace them with AI trader ship fleets at best or just remove the whole AI fleet mechanic from the game. It does not add content just detracts and destroys existing content

i like this idea a lot. I am not sure about keeping the duro on the ship but not losing crew or the officer seems to be a really good middle ground, there would have to be a timer or something so your ship could still be boarded and or blown up well your crew is disembarking

as we have stated before The best use of AI fleet ships would be as traders to carry your cargo that you need to protect. Having warships as AI fleets even with crew management is very detrimental to game play as a whole.
